Auto Service
The car was taken to Transmission Physician for a free of charge service after another auto service and their incompetence could not fix what they had caused and were threatened with legal ramifications. The car after they had serviced the car for over a 2 month period was pouring transmission fluid from the top of the dipstick. Steve's Auto made the arrangements to take the car to Transmission Physician to get fixed. Transmission Physician, Daryl, had the car over two weeks. I called at the start of the third week after not hearing from him and he said he had fixed the problem. When I got there to pick up the car I asked what the problem had been to cause the transmission fluid to pour from the dipstick, he said that all he did was top off the fluid and it never leaked at all!!! Though in the space where it had been parked in his garage was a large puddle of transmission fluid. He said that it was fine now and corrected. I drove home to find the problem STILL there, light pinkish transmission fluid pouring from the top of the dipstick. I crawled underneath the car and removed a shiny new bolt from the end of a hose near the transmission case end and the drive shaft. The problem went away and never returned. I am not trying to hurt any businesses, but only trying to help protect honest consumers from wasted time, money, and unneeded heart aches. Please take this as a warning and do your investigative homework to find a competent mechanic to service your vehicle.
