SOUTHEASTERN ASPHALT

I contacted the company and they sent a representative who took pictures (several months apart). The company adopted an attitude that the stain would fade over time, disregarding the fact that it would look like an eyesore. Not satisfied with this solution . I placed calls to the manager over a three week period, none of which were returned . I finally got his cell # and asked him, what he intended to do. He said he personally had to  come out and see what could be done and that  he would try to come out the following week but it was the busiest time of the year for him. Two weeks later he repeated the same thing. He never did come out. I filed a complaint with the BBB, Asheville for the company to remove the stains and seal coat the driveway. Finally, in June , 2015, My driveway was sealcoated. No attempt was made to remove the staiins. And as the sealcoat fades  the debris is already surfacing. Details of this and the company's responses  can be found on the BBB  Asheville web site as an unresolved complaint. I am deeply disappointed and dissatisfied with the performance of Southeastern Asphalt: from its  dragging debris onto the driveway resulting in it being embedded into the hardening asphalt, to their not immediately coming out and redoing that section of the driveway, to their thinking it was OK to leave that eyesore for months on my driveway and especially for their lack of responsiveness, e.g. not even returning phone calls. All of which makes their mission statement ironic-" We work with our clients on a personal level to ensure that each project receives the attention it deserves and that you are completely satsfied with our services. Our commitment to your satisfaction is what separates us from other companies." 

They did a very professional yard. The work was nice and they were better priced than other bids that I received. They showed up on time and did what they said they would do. I would highly recommend them others.

Communication was difficult since most of the workers did not speak english, and the supervisor was seldom around.  Phone calls were seldom returned, and appointments made were not kept.  The company supervisor would tell us one thng, and then the company owner would dispute it.  Trying to get the problems they created resolved has been a big fiasco.
