CAROLINA MULCH PLUS

It went very well. They did exactly as I asked and even had some very helpful suggestions. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Job scheduled via phone using company's online calculator to figure out how much mulch I would need. No written estimate provided. Two days prior to delivery, company called to confirm appointment and said truck would arrive about 1:00 pm, but the driver would call when in route. About 3:00 on delivery day the driver called to say they would be at my house within the hour. They arrived at 4:30 with a full truck load of mulch. Two men. We discussed placement and desired depth of mulch; they got started promptly. The truck overheated a few times, which shut down the blower, but after about 10 minutes or so the temperature dropped enough to get the blower working again. Within two hours, they were done. They also blew the dust/debris from the street, driveway, and plants.

The mulch was spread so thin that is deteriorated in about 2 months. Waist of money, I'll always have it spread manually. They also hit my house with their truck, they did pay for the damage.

We had a wonderful experience. Wayne came out to give us our quote, he explained our mulch options,( type, color, etc.), and we also discussed possible Tera seeding of one of our hillsides. We scheduled our application. They had a bit of a backlog and they also had a truck issue, but once we were scheduled properly the work was done well. The application of mulch was as thick as promised. They cleaned up the driveway, street and yard once they were finished. We chose not to have the Tera seeding done this year due to the dry conditions.
