Painters were absolutely outstanding. Professional, prompt, and respectful. We hardly knew they were here. We got a summary of the work every evening by text. Started early in the morning, worked hard. Great crew. Careful attention to detail. We had a problem in that we chose a color not approved by our HOA, had to repaint all our siding. Not the painters' fault, but they felt bad for us and offered us a major discount in redoing the work. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The experience was great and the team was professional and easy to work with. As a first time home owner we were making many decisions about what we wanted on the fly, and Zarazua was always very accommodating and understanding, even when we changed our minds about things. Our basement was a huge project (totally unfinished when we moved in) and they did an amazing job that transformed the space into something very special. Very happy chose Zarazua and would definitely recommend them.

Excellent! From the start, when Juan the owner of the company came for an estimate, to the interaction - scheduling with the office staff, to the two painters who did the work, it was a job well done in all respects. Clear honest competitive estimate, prompt scheduling by a very friendly person in the office, Chelsea, and painters who did quality work efficiently and exactly as promised. Absolutely excellent, a really well run business, delighted with the work.

Zarazua Painting just finished painting our 2 bedroom 2 bath home in Downtown Durham. Dealing with Zarazua Painting was smooth from the beggining till the end. The crew worked quickly and efficiently down a very long punch list of odd jobs - some full room painting, and lots of patching and painting around the house. They were very polite and tidy. End product was a really great paint job. All touch up work blended perfectly with prior work done. I would strongly recommend Zarazua for painting and other home contracting work!

We hired Zarazua Painting to paint the exterior of a house in Durham, and then when we moved a couple of years later, to paint the whole interior Juan's crews were excellent, and Juan was a pleasure to work with. They were fairly priced, respectful, and finished on time. We couldn't have been happier. Highly recommended.

Zarazua continues to exceed my expectations on quality of work, project timelines, and professionalism. We first hired them to remodel two bathrooms and then a kitchen and now can’t find enough projects for them to help with. They have performed painting, electrical, woodworking, tiling, and flooring activities. I would highly recommend them. The owner is heavily involved and won’t stop until you are overly satisfied.

Juan and his crew did an amazing job! He was very responsive and did majority of work while we were out of town on vacation. Any small issues were immediately fixed no questions asked. Within a matter of weeks, we were able to list the house — and 24 hours later it was under contract, due, in no small part, to Zarazua Painting and their excellent work (at a reasonable price). I don't even know where to start... These guys are amazing. From day 1 when Juan came in to give us an estimate on the entire work, to Mario, working with us making sure we are happy with every single details, to Trinidad, explaining us details of the work and helping us make right decisions as we go, to Wendy, helping us organize things - these guys are amazing! Our house is pretty big, and we bought it in a questionable condition. I was skeptic about one company fixing everything we wanted the way we wanted. Not only they double and triple checked their own work to make sure that there are no glitches anywhere on the walls or floor, but they actually repainted part of our bathroom when we realized that we didn't like the color that we picked - for free! They went back and forth to the house for weeks with us to make sure that we were happy with the way our deck looks, and answered all the questions we had about it. And my favorite story is that when the hose on the side of the house (i'm telling you, it is an older house) got accidentally unplugged, Juan had his plumber (another man who knows what he does!) come and fix it within 24 hours. I could tell more stories and bring more examples of how these guys are second to none, but I suggest you hire them and make your own experiences with them. I promise you, you won't regret that decision. We are definitely having them back!

Great! Only the landing material used was not good and technique was not great. It ended up some repair work to cover the nail holes and rough surfaces. But overall, workers worked really hard and paid attention to details. They were punctual, professional and had excellent work ethics. The evaluator seemed aiming price high initially and it is not a bad idea to get few quotes.

It was a complex project executed in a little over 3 weeks, considering the winter weather interference, this was remarkable and the results are amazing. With a large scale multi stage project, there were some communication challenges which Juan and his team worked through to make an older home made to looks its best . Juan has some of the finest craftmen and workers that take pride in the work they do. The satisfaction of his customers is of paramount importance. I highly recommend Zarazua painting. I would be proactive about communication with Juan and his team- they are very busy at times and its best to reach out to them with questions as they come up- and if you are doing a big painting project, have them paint a large area with the color you chose carefully. Nothing more important that making certain you are happy with how the color works for you. Juan will make sure you will be pleased in the end. I felt I spent my money wisely and received very high quality professional results with Zarazua Painting.
