The Taylor brothers were terrific. They came with an 8-week calendar with outlined expectations for each day of the week.  Their work was excellent and they were always responsive to our inquiries and requests.  They had to tear down a wall to fix a problem that was not of their doing, and they did it within a reasonable budget and time frame.  They were very easy to work with - we wouldn't hesitate to use them again for any other job - large or small.

A number of years ago burglars kicked in an outside door. The door frame was almost destroyed. Our insurance agent recommended the Taylor Brothers for the repair. They did a superlative job at a very reasonable price. Since we are now preparing our house to sell, we naturally thought of the Taylor Brothers when the real estate agent suggested some repairs.
There were a few relatively small interior repairs for which I had neither experience nor tools. We also had a number of siding panels (38 years old) that were rotten at the bottom. These had to be replaced and stained to match the adjacent pieces.
David Taylor came out to inspect and bid the job. He had a bid back to me via email within a day. This was just before Christmas and scheduling was difficult, but they were very cooperative.
The Taylor Brothers themselves fixed the interior problems. They were neat, competent, and organized. No one would ever guess that the repairs were required. I added a problem that I had not shown them when the bid was made. They did a fine job of fixing a cabinet that I had been trying to fix for several years.
The outside work was a bit more difficult because of the weather. We had to delay the repair until the weather cooperated. Also, we needed to re-schedule because we had someone interested in buying our house. When the weather was dry, three men showed up to repair the siding. The next day the painter was here to stain the new pieces.
When the stain dried, there was a slight mismatch between the new panels and the old ones. The Taylor Brothers came out the next day, evaluated the problem, and affected a change that made the job perfect.
I've never been more impressed and satisfied with a group of craftsmen and their company.

The work was done quickly, too quickly. Their estimate accounted for twice the number of hours they actually worked. They not only cut corners in design, they changed their plans after intially contracting for the work after discovering their initial plan wouldn't do the job. Overall, I was not satisfied with their work.

We were very satisfied and we couldn't have been any more pleased. They arrived on time. We couldn't tell from the quality of the work that it ever needed repair. They cleaned up behind themselves so we didn't even know they had been here. They were polite and everything was great. We would use them again for any type of carpentry construction repair. We considered it a find that we found them.
