Sew Fine II is a 25 year old, locally owned, full service interior design company specializing in custom window treatments. We offer products that can be used to decorate a home, office, or outdoor living area. Sew Fine II has a decorated design studio conveniently located near Southpoint Mall. In our design studio is a Hunter Douglas Gallery featuring all products manufactured by Hunter Douglas. We offer in-home consultations by appointment.

Lori Paschall was a pleasure to work with. She came to my home several times with loads of books of fabric swatches and spent a lot of time with me. She was so patient and really listened to me and helped me find a fabric and style of valence that looks great in my kitchen. She knows a lot more about decorating than just window treatments, and we discussed some other projects in my home. I recommend her very highly. Also, the installer they use is very good and efficient. The entire process was great!

Paula is a magician with fabric. I came with the primary fabric & she paired it with multiple coordinating fabrics & trims. She helped to design window treatments, bed cover & multiple elaborately decorated pillows. The results are truly breathtaking!

Everyone that we interacted with from the showroom to the in-home consultation to installing was a pleasure to work with. The window treatments are not cheap, but we are confident we will a lifetime of use from them.

Excellent service and attention to detail by Lori from SewFine 2. She was very responsive, answering calls and emails in evenings and weekends after work hours. She brought lots of samples to the house and was helpful navigating the many choices of styles, materials, and colors to best suit our project. She scheduled and personally supervised the installation. No concerns at all. I know they will be responsive if I have any concerns in the future with the product or the installation.
I only put "B" for price because these are Hunter Douglas shades and they are more expensive than off brand shades but I am VERY pleased with the quality of the shades in appearance, heft of the fabric and workings of the mechanism.
The installers were very busy and it was hard to coordinate their schedule with my busy work schedule so this delayed my installation for a couple of weeks. The quality of the installation and the personable nature of the folks doing the work certainly met my expectations, however.

Lori Paschall has been incredibly professional and nice to work with. She is always on time or, if not, is excellent about communicating when she may be delayed. She made every effort to make sure I was happy w/ my choices & understood all my options. I am now in the process of working with her on draperies for the master & guest bedrooms and would definitely work with her agian.

It was perfect! Lori, the decorator, was very helpful in showing me several types of Roman shades. When they were installed, she brought her installer and he had them up in about 15 min. They were extremely pleasant to work with!

Lori was very professional. She helped me pick the fabric for a pair of draw draperies that would cover 3 windows in my husband's study.I thought it would be a slow and difficult process to select the fabric, but Lori understood what I wanted and helped me choose the fabric that would go well with his office and please my husband. The result is beautiful. I am very happy with the draperies.

Instead of bombarding up with many, many samples, Paula came and measured windows, looked at our colors and came back with a small number of samples custom-chosen for us. We liked all of her choices. The installations were done very professionally.

Paula from Sew Fine II has a wonderful eye for color and design. There is no way we could have done this ourselves. The dining roon drapes were the finishing touch in the room. The valance in the bedroom coordinated with the colors in the room perfectly and the unique design really dressed up the room..
The selections that Paula brought after looking at the drapes and valence we wanted done were extensive. She spent as much time as we needed to decide what fabric appealed to both me and my husband. She also suggested a number of styles for both windows that she thought might work.
The final product is the finishing touch for both rooms. We can't recommend her too highly.
I have not had curtains made professionally in a very long time. I mentioned that the price was high, but I really loved the work Paula had done in a neigbor's home and put a lot of stock in that neighbor's recommendation. As my neigbor told me, the service she gave us was excellent. Therefore, I listed the price as good, but the only comparison I have is to ready made curtains that would not really compare to the finished product we have. I do believe the high cost was worth it.
I would definitely recommend this vendor to anyone interested is having a beautiful set of drapes or a unique valance done. The finished product is wonderful.

Lori responded very quickly to my Angie's List enquiry. She called before to check the address and to confirm the appointment details. She was extremely well prepared with many sample books and idea books. We found a pattern and style that was much better than my first choice. I would never have picked it out without professional assistance.
