Lawn Tool Repair
The fellows in this business are courteous and very friendly. I brought in 4 hand prunners. One is a Felco and another is a very good brand. The other two are cheap. I asked that, if it was not worth the money, do not sharpen the cheap ones. All 4 were sharpened. When I tried using the cheap pairs, they didn't work any better than before. I was irritated that they had been sharpened but assumed the poor result was due to the quality of the blades. I tried the expensive pairs and they also did not work a bit better. I don't know what happened. I wondered if the tools had been mistakenly put in the "done" pile. There is not one bit of improvement in their performance. I would have brought them back but the shop is not convienent to me. Instead I fume everytime I use them and plan to go elsewhere next time. I will not bring in my mower for repair as planned.
