They are always prompt and friendly.

It went excellent. Prompt on site evaluation, good communication, and cleanup. Provided before and after photos. The reason responsiveness not rated excellent was that the first quote was lost in communication at the shop, but a simple email put things back on track I thought it was expensive, but the quality of the work was very good and easy since I am counting on suppliers to work independently.

The inspection was very helpful and thorough.

Jeff was super responsive both times and came right out. I showed him where the roof was leaking and he climbed up to take a look. He came back down and explained why was wrong and gave me a quote to fix it.
The price was fair and he said he could come back in a few days to fix it. I agreed and he called the morning he was scheduled to come to let me know he was on his way. He was gone by the tie I got back but it was clear the repairs were done.
We had a new leak show up the very next rainstorm so I called Jeff directly and he came right out. He had it fixed in 24 hours.

I called Pickard because I had water leaking into my living room. They sent someone out immediately to check it out. The problem was with the chimney which is located in the steepled part of the roof. They made an appointment to come back as soon as they could to fix it. They sealed the chimney so that water would not come in again. The repair was done quickly, they were efficient and very polite. I have used Pickard for several years, because we have a flat roof on our home. They have always solved my problems. I highly recommend them.

The man called back within minutes of me leaving a message. He came out that same day and got me the estimate to me the next day. Within a week, the roof was complete, which was appreciated because we were having problems with leaks.

They always do just what needs to be done and they don't try to make work. They are very, very good and very professional. I would recommend them to anyone. They are the best. Their prices are always fair. They are high quality and I expect to pay more because I am getting a better job. I will continue to use them.

I thought their price was extremely high for the estimates, but that's just from people that I talked to about their price. I still want to receive more estimates for the work. They have been in business for a long time, and I'm sure Pickard is competent, but I bet there are other roofing companies that are more reasonably-priced than this company. I thought the bill for the gutter work was high, so I called them to ask about it. They explained the charges; I told them that they charged me for two hours when it really wasn't a full two hours (more like an hour and fifteen minutes). They just told me that because gutter cleaning isn't something they don't really make money on, they just do it as a courtesy. The flashing did fix the problem and their work was fine, but I didn't like the flip way of how they mentioned they did a favor and then charging me more than they should.

It seems that this roof leak told us a great deal about all those areas of our 15-year old house that were not designed or built properly. This problem also alerted us to some siding issues which were taken care of by a different contractor. But back to the roof. After getting three estimates and three different ideas of how to handle it, I decided to go with Pickard who installed a copper pan and the bottom of the snow valley where the leak was. Because this area has the most amount of water of all of our many roof-angled house, I decided on this most and quot;permanentand quot; solution over other roofers who recommended other options. Pickard also installed a galvanized chimney cap after the siding contractor repaired the rotted trim there. Cap now properly keeps water away from trim/siding.

I've used Pickard in the past for reroofing a previous house and find them to do an excellent job.

They came the day after we got the estimate and repaird the roof. Two days later we had over 2 inches of rain in a few hours, and no leak! They were personal and very professional.
