I had a wonderful experience, the technician was on time, professional and very pleasant. I had purchased a service plan and it is well worth the money to not worry about my unit not working in the hottest months of the year

The services were first explained in detail when scheduling and by the tech prior to actually performing the work. The technician greeted me with respect, retaining his professional mannerism the entire time onsite. Yes, following protocol of wearing a mask as well. Costs were very competitive to others I’d seen through my research! I’d would HIGHLY recommend this company and especially the technician Jason! Thank you ALL!

These folks did a great job, showed up on short notice evaluated the problem quickly and gave me a fair price. Showed up at 8am and worked until 8pm removing ductwork and installing new system. Came back the next day to finish and did a great job installing and cleaning up after a messy job. I would highly recommend them if looking for fair price and professional and courteous service before and after the sale.

My line of work puts me in front of a lot of vendors and Bobby and his crew do a **** of a job. Responsive, well-priced and easy to work with makes for a great experience with these guys. They have quoted and installed numerous HVAC systems, crawlspace systems and more for my clients. I've worked with enough folks in this field to know a good vendor when I meet one and I would without a doubt recommend them over and over again!

We had a compressor that was under a material warranty replaced in our AC unit on June 26, 2019 (original AC unit installed by the same office group in 2010). We did not approve/sign an invoice before the work started. The work took 2 hrs labor and needed 5 lbs of R-410a. The invoice received was for $1100 which was in addition to a 5 day earlier invoice of $286 for initial assessment; diagnosis $106 and a *not needed* capacitor $180 that you conveniently had on your truck... An explanation for this high cost was request on July 9 and received on Sept 24 (a day after One Hour filed a grievance). We were given the Straight Forward Pricing Table; the compressor was considered a Level 5 Difficulty and the *not needed* capacitor was a Level 1 Difficulty (per their admission, capacitor costs $25). The Level 5 Difficult, described in their email should be "soup to nuts" and we should not be charged for multiple layers of difficulty. After talking to three local respected contractors, the fair and reasonable price for the work should have been between $650-$800. After discussions, we are being asked to pay $1036 ($750 +286) for an obvious problem which was a leaking compressor; splatters on the top of the unit and low levels of R-410a. Please be aware of any Company using Straight Forward Pricing

Serviceman said three parts needed replacement and pushed to replace outside unit or full system. Within one working day, repair estimates went from $2000 to $2800 to $5000, and full replacement estimates went from $4800 to $6500. I was met with frustration when I asked about their plan and pricing. I had a second opinion and only one part needed replacement -- the outside unit was fine. Saved myself thousands by going to someone else.

"Ms. [Member Name Removed], I'm the owner of Green Horizon One Hour and I wanted to follow-up on this review. We take customer service and honesty very seriously so your review caused me great concern. After discussing everything with Frank, who is our HVAC Manager, I believe there may be some misunderstanding. The only reason for the different prices was because he was trying to present different options that would more closely match your budget and needs. In fact, we turned your name over to a program sponsored by Duke Energy to see if you could get a free system. We did this as an effort to help you, certainly not for you to be distrusting of us. We often don't recommend, band-aid repairs, because we know they won't last, even though they are inexpensive. Every repair we make has a 2-year warranty so we can't do half measures. Finally, if you'd like to discuss the series of events or anything else, I can be reached at the office or on my cell phone, 919-949-0705. Hopefully, you've been accepted into the Duke program so you can have a long term solution and thank you for the feedback. Sincerely, Bobby Ferrel"

I recently used Green Horizon One Hour to service my 10 year old HVAC system. It was a weekend when I wasn’t sure if I get anyone to come by and they answered my call and had someone to the house within 2 hours. The technicians name was Eric and he did a great job explaining the problem and providing an estimate for the repair. I thought the pricing was very reasonable and agreed to have them come back and install the motor once they got it in. The repair went smoothly and the unit is working well. I would highly recommend Green Horizon One Hour and will continue to use them for all my HVAC needs.

I would highly recommend One Hour Heating and Air. I have used many providers through the years with mixed results, but have found Bobby and his team to be extremely professional in both their interactions with the customer and in the quality of their work. I have had them seal my crawlspace, upgrade some duct work, and maintain my heating and air. Great team, and great job!

Excellent service from start to finish. Bobby and his team were prompt and professional and stayed late to make sure we were no left without AC for a night. When one of the units had a problem a few days later (equipment malfunction that was not their fault), Bobby and a tech were on the phone with me late at night to temporarily solve the problem and then showed up first thing the next day to permanently solve the problem. I highly recommend this company.

They did a hasty, sloppy and incomplete job and damaged our house. I have been a homeowner for over 11 years and have had a variety of work done on each home I've owned. This is the worst experience I have ever had. They said that it would take 2 days to complete the job and did it in a half day. Unsurprisingly, the work they did was sloppy (insulation in areas it did not belong, weather stripping not placed on the attic door cover), incomplete (did not bring the necessary or functional equipment to demonstrate that it would meet the efficiency standards set by our local energy company(blower test) and led to damage to our home (hole in our ceiling, large scratch in our new hardwood floors and bent the mechanism to our pull down stair case so badly that now it takes 10 attempts to get it to close). After creating a large hole in the hallway ceiling that we recently had completely repainted, they scheduled one of their guys to repair the hole. He was inflexible about the time he could come, which forced my wife to tell her employee that he had to work on a day he planned to take vacation, so he could provide work coverage for her. After waiting over an hour for the guy to show up, my wife called the office manager (OM), who finally reached their repair guy-it had apparently "slipped his mind." He offered the time my wife originally requested, but at that point, she had already rearranged her work schedule to work in the afternoon. I will add that the estimate for how long the job would take was 2 hours. I was forced to take the afternoon off from work so that my wife could get to her job. The repair man's "friend" showed up and was totally unprepared for the job. He had to go back out to get the appropriate materials, after I called the OM to confirm that he was there to fix the hole in the ceiling. It took him 4 hours to finish the repair, so I missed the rest of my work day. After the crew left, we discovered that they had gotten insulation in areas that were not intended to have insulation. As we continued to look, we noticed a very large hole in the attic floor that was not there before. Additionally, the attic door cover they had created did not have any weather stripping, which the president of their company said should have been added. We again contacted the OM, who arranged to have the team return to address these issues and to conduct the blower test. My wife called the office several times to verify that the team would do the blower test in the same visit. She was assured that this final part would be done in just a couple of hours. When I came home, I discovered that the crew was still there, and my wife was in tears. The crew said they had no idea they were to conduct the test and did not bring the equipment. She was stunned--she called the OM who insisted that the crew did know and had one person drive back to get the equipment. My wife was beyond stressed, as she had planned her work schedule around what she had been told by the team. When they did return, the machine did not work. My wife called the OM again--she apologized and drove over another machine. That also did not work. As this was their only other machine for the test, my wife had stressed over missing more work for a job that did not even get finished. I am appalled by this company’s utter lack of professionalism and integrity. Due to the gross incompetence of the people this company sent to either do the job or try to fix something they damaged, what should have been a 2 day job has dragged on for weeks and is still incomplete. They have wasted multiple work days of ours and caused an inordinate amount of stress to our lives in trying to get the many issues resolved through talking with them directly.

"[Member Name Removed], Thanks for the review, even though it does show, that we made some mistakes on your job and ended up causing both of you a lot of stress and anxiety. We know this project didn't go well, but we've tried to be as a responsive and accommodating while we worked through the sheetrock repair and return trip to fix the insulation. As I have offered to your wife, we stand by all of our work and are more than happy to finish and repair anything that needs attention, plus give you several hundred dollars in financial compensation. I understand you may not want us back, but I'm not sure how else to remedy the situation, other than by offering to fix what's broken and give you money. Please call or email directly if you'd like to discuss further. Sincerely, Bobby Ferrel"
