My private mechanic said I needed a new muffler, but Meineke assured me that the muffler was fine and that all I really needed was a repair to the parts that hold the exhaust system in place. It remains to be seen if I will need further repair, but for now, I'm pleased with the service and workmanship.

I took my car here on three separate occasions the 500 is about what I paid total, once for brakes once for AC work and once for a noise in front. The AC was the first repair I thought that I was going to have a really expensive repair they explained that they would have to fill the car with freon because it was empty and I would have to bring it back to have it tested for leaks. They did say that if they had to refill it to repair it they would not charge me for addiitional freon (the dealer would have charged me twice). They filled it I brought it back and they found no leaks and stated that it was possible that somebody hit the release valve and that there would be no additional charge. I took my car to have my brakes done another occasion and I knew that I needed front and rear brakes and that my front rotors were warped so I understood that I may need to replace them. I called to make an appointment he told me where to get a coupon on line and reminded me that I had to bring it to get the coupon price. I was again surprised when they completed the work were able to turn my rotors gave me lifetime pad warranty and did not try to up sell me extra brake work. Repair shops are notorious for this often recommending hoses, caliper, and rotors when they are not needed. The repair cost me exactly what I was quoted and done early. The third time I went I noticed a rubbing sound in the front end thought it could have been brakes or axel issues I was prepared to have issues since I just had my brakes done. I dropped it off as they were closing they looked at it the next morning a rock had got stuck between the gard on the back of the rotor they adjusted the guard slightly to prevent this from happening and charged me nothing. He also told me about a bad head light that I had been to lazy to change and wanted to point out that there was a little bit of dried coolant around the thermostat housing but he said that it was not significant at this time and if I noticed my coolant level getting low he would recommend it at that time. So I asked him to change the oil (synthetic) replace the headlight and I was on my way for about 100 dollars.

They were really accommodating. They were expensive.

Very professional, kept me informed of what my options were, and let me make the decision of what to do without any sales pressure.
