Mariana's House Cleaning Services

It started out off the right foot.  I got a prompt appointment to get an initial estimate, and the owners showed up right on time.  They were able to schedule the first cleaning promptly, as well, which I appreciated, because I needed a deep cleaning after getting renovations done on my house.  The estimate was quite high, but I at that point, I was desperate, and figured they must do a really deep down clean to charge $300.00 for the first time cleaning. 
HOWEVER...when the actual cleaning day came, they were quite late, and I had quite a difficult time communicating my specific needs...i.e. I wanted them to use MY cleaners because I am allergic to bleach.  I had specific special attention areas and I felt like I wasn't being heard.  I had to leave to go to work because they had shown up much later than I had anticipated.
When I got home to look around, some areas were cleaned very well and very thoroughly, but some areas were barely touched.   The bathroom and laundry room floors weren't cleaned at all, and some areas were definitely rushed through.  They were only there for 1.5 hours, and even though there's 3 of them, I was expecting much more time for a $300 first time fee.
If this is their cleaning at its "best" I don't need to continue service with them.  They receive, pretty much, a failing grade from me because I would've expected a much higher quality job than they did.  Their prices are outrageous and the quality is only fair.  Definite thumbs down, I'm afraid.

We were very disappointed by the lack of professionalism displayed by the staff of Mariana's House Cleaning Services (MHCS).

When we first talked to MHCS, they assured us they were able to take on new clients. They came to our home to provide a free estimate and same-day housecleaning services, which we were very pleased about. Their price for the initial cleaning was high ($250), but we thought that it would be worth it given that they protrayed themselves as a top-line cleaning service and had awards listed on their web page. They estimated a recurring monthly fee of $100, which seemed reasonable. However, they did not show up to the subsequent appointment, nor did we recieve a phone call or email to let us know they would miss or needed to reschedule the appointment. After leaving voice messages and emails, MHCS finally called us and we scheduled another appointment. During the phone call, I asked if we should look for another housecleaning service but I was assured that they would be able to perform monthly housecleaning. But on the day of the appointment, MHCS did not appear again and we were never notified by phone or email that they would not be able to make the appointment. I called MHCS and was told by a staffer she would call her manager to find out where he was and return my call; we have never heard back from them.

We ended up wasting our time and money; we paid an initial high-priced cleaning and never benefitted from the lower priced cleanings.

They did a very good job and did some additional services this time than I usually get - carpet cleaning and cleaned some windows that were really dirty.

Arrived prompt, were friendly and did a thorough job.
