In the past few years, I have noticed a deterioration in the quality of their service. From the folks who answer the telephone when I call to the service technicians who come out to service our units twice/year, they always tell me they are new with Lee Air. They tell me they haven't been trained to work on the Carrier units.
Last fall, we had a problem with the motor on one of the units. It was under warranty but we still had to pay $200+ for labor to install the motor. The service technician told us it was installed improperly, as was much of the unit. Which made it difficult for him to service the unit.
Just last week, when the second unit was blowing hot air (instead of cold air), I called and they could not schedule service. Said they'd put me on a waiting list and will give me 30 minutes notice on when they would be out to fix the unit. I called on Monday, they arrived Friday late evening.
Ironically, Friday afternoon I gave up on hearing from Lee Air and called a different company who scheduled service for Tuesday morning.
I think, in the future, I am going to give the other company a try instead of Lee Air. They have some pretty good reviews from here....
