About us
A North Carolina native and Chapel Hill/Durham resident since 1989, Lamar comes to West and Woodall with an extensive knowledge of this region. A graduate of Gardner Webb College, he is also a 20 + year member of the University of North Carolina Educational Foundation. Involvement in the community has always been very important to Lamar. He has been a member of the Durham Lions Club since 1999 where he was named the 85th President. Other accomplishments include Past President of the Dallas Jaycees as well as a Jaycees International Senator. Lamar is licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance with the North Carolina Department of Insurance, and a member of the Durham Association of Realtors. In 2006, he was awarded the Affiliate /Associate of the Year by the DRAR. He is a member of Yates Baptist Church and currently lives in Chapel Hill with his wife Shelia and their dog Daisy.
