Contacted this builder to obtain an estimate on adding an addition to our home. He came and offered plan drawing services which were expensive. We only receieved PDF drawings which are useless for lending criterion. We requested an updated 2010 estimate and he never provided one. However he did provide me with a bill for his estimation time, even including the time he spent to register his company as a preferered builder with a potential bank - something he should have done on his own. We contacted this builder because he was referred by a friend. Based on our experience that reputation has changed to unsatisfactory. We paid thousands of dollars and have nothing of value to show. Steer clear of this company!

"L.E. Meyers Builders worked with the members over a period of 16 months under a written design agreement with the goal of putting together an addition/renovation project to meet their needs in terms of architectural features, construction cost and fit with specific financing arrangements. The process included developing architectural designs that the members received in printed and electronic form. By the end of the term of the design agreement, we had an architectural design that the members approved, but no lenders willing to provide the financing terms that the members requested. At that point, L.E. Meyers Builders invoiced for design services according to the terms of the agreement. A lengthy collection process followed, with an outcome that was clearly not to the member's liking, though the court found the agreement and the billing appropriate and correct and ordered payment."

THIS COMPANY WAS REFERRED BY A COLLEAGUE. THEY BROUGHT SAMPLES TO MY HOME, WHICH WAS CONVENIENT AND A BIG TIME SAVER FOR ME. THEY DID A NICE JOB WITH ALL THE WORK THEY DID. THEY WERE ALSO CONSIDERATE AND CLEANED UP EVERYTHING NICELY.

THEY ALWAYS CLEANED UP ANY MESSES THAT WERE AROUND. I WAS WORRIED ABOUT THE TIME PERIOD IT MIGHT TAKE TO GET THIS PROJECT COMPLETED, BUT IN THE END, THEY DID IT IN GOOD TIME.
