Handyman Home Repair

He was punctual, very competent, and helpful in providing advice. His price was very reasonable. In one of his last visits more than a year ago, he informed us that he was taking a job with Durham City Schools and leaving his Handyman Home Repair business. We appreciated his work and wish him the best in his new position.

What we found was bad but that's rality but he providd good advice.

Tim, arrived on time and started working immediately after receiving the materials and instructions. He worked all day until he completed the work. He was courteous and checked-in a couple of times during the day to ensure that the work was being performed according to plan.

It went well. He was punctual and did a great job. One the worst door he discovered that the door was sticking due to swelling in the threshold from rot. Fixing that is going to be a bigger project at a later date, however he did several things that make the door work much better.

Tim changed a number of lightbulbs in the floodlights at the very top of our A-line roofed house.  He even had to go get a taller ladder but did so with a smile and got back very quickly and got the job done.

Possibly the worst plumbers ever.  Not only did they charge a stiff fee for the work successfully done, but utterly failed in clearing a second toilet, saying it was too blocked and suggesting they replace the toilet.  I went out to Home Depot, bought a toilet auger, and cleared the toilet in minutes.  These guys need to pursue another line of work.

The Job went very well.  Tim is a craftsman.  His Quality of work is Superior.  He showed up on time, was very professional and   very easy to work with.  Tim is a hard worker and accomplished a lot of work.. 

This was the very best contractor experience I've had with Angie's List deals.

I will hire him for any additional projects as they come up.

Tim was a pleasure to work with. His professionalism, timeliness, and speed of completion made an otherwise stressful time go fairly well. He and his team came in and did the job much faster than I expected. He's a great guy who did a great job!

Really fine work. A little slow on communication, but very good pricing, and quality work!

.Chris replaced an entire entry door -removed rotten wood, added new lock set and was nice about driving to the store to get supplies.

Angie's List sent me the perfect company to put up a fence.    Not only did Tim Woods the owner spend a lot of time explaining how they would do the fence, he answered all of my questions.  The following Monday two members  of his crew came out  after picking up the supplies and they could not have been nicer.   They immediately started to work on the fence
Alex and Chris worked without stopping and did an incredible job.  I will use this company again and have already told several neighbors about them.   As the commerical says, 'Thank you Angie' for sending HHR out to me

I called Tim on a Tuesday evening and within and hour he called me back. I needed an a/c unit installed in my kitchen & explained that I was desperate! Tim had time the next morning to come & perform the installation. He gave me the price & the time he'd arrive & the job was performed seamlessly & with ease. Tim is very personable, pleasant & professional & I would definitely call him again for any of my household/repair needs! :)

We wish everyone was this easy to work with. Punctual, professional and did a great job! He will be our go to guy in the future.

Contacted Tim by Angie's list initially in the morning - he soon responded by text.  Drove to my home soon after to estimate the project.  Worked and completed project until the afternoon.  VERY pleased with response time, professionalism, advice, and work done.  He even carved the street number and painted them green, just like the old post.  Our homeowners association president stopped by and got his cards to pass to other neighbors.  Would definitely recommend Tim to others.
