Granite Garage Floors

We had the garage and back patio on our new house done by Granite Garage Floors of Raleigh-Durham back in April of 2023 and were initially pleased with the results. However, if one of the reasons you are considering them is their lifetime warranty, you may want to look elsewhere. We had a small issue in our garage with two spots that lifted recently in the path of tires on one of our cars and despite contacting Keith multiple times over the course of three months, have been unable to get a clear warranty issue resolved. He did get back to me on my second attempt at contacting him and said he would address the problem in a few weeks and then we never heard back from him despite multiple emails, voicemails and text messages. It's frustrating when you try to give someone the benefit of the doubt as I know how busy they are, but the lack of any response whatsoever has left little for me to do but alert others of a possible issue they may run into if they think the warranty that this company supplies is worth anything. Caveat Emptor!

Fast, meticulous and very personable. Keith and the entire crew were amazing and prompt. The materials they use are top notch and the attention to detail is much appreciated. My garage looks amazing and the floor was the final piece to finishing it. Highly recommended!

There was a slight problem that caused a two-day delay in completing the second phase of the job due to a mechanical breakdown of a vehicle and the illness of a worker - however, Keith (the owner) came out on a Sunday to finish the work himself, which impressed us. The finished product looks very good, appears to be very durable and Is a huge improvement over the bare concrete floor. I believe it is money well spent and wished I had had it done sooner. I also believe I made the right choice in selecting Granite Garage Floors to do the job.

It went fairly well. After they came out the first time to do the first half (prep the floors and lay the flakes), the flakes were a little sparse and the base color was wrong. We contacted Keith and he had it fixed right away. The company was very easy to work with - they clearly care about customer satisfaction and getting the job done well!

I used to hate our garage. Stained concrete, cracks, just nasty. The guys from Granite Garage Floors came, transformed everything in a couple of days, and it was nothing short of magical. The floor now looks exactly like granite! Smooth, shiny, luxurious! I put a foosball table and a dart board in the garage, and we hang out there now. I smile every time I walk through -- so pretty! The crew that did the Installation was very Professional and arrived on time. They explained the whole process and did an excellent job. My experience with Granite Garage Floors went pleasantly well. After requesting a quote on the website I got a call from Keith at the local branch within 24 hours, and then within 48 hours he was at my house examining my garage and giving me an exact quote. The price was very fair so we decided to move forward with the work, which was scheduled for 3 weeks later. The total work took two days to complete, and I was able to begin walking on my floor 24 hours after the work was completed. The quality of the work itself was fairly high. I am a pretty detailed oriented guy, so I inspected almost every square inch of the floor and found some areas that didn't get coated by the top level epoxy. After discovering these areas, I contacted Keith, and he immediately scheduled his team to come back and touch them up. When the team came back, they were very professional and touched up all the specific areas I pointed out. The only other issue I had with the work was the cleanup. The work itself was done during a week of non-stop rain, which made it very difficult to cleanup all of the extra colored flakes that littered my driveway. The team cleaned a lot of the leftover flakes up, but there was still a decent number they didn't. After the rain ended, I went out and had to sweep up and blow my driveway to completely clean it of the flakes. I am really happy I went with this company to seal and coat my garage. It looks absolutely fantastic and I like knowing I have a lifetime guarantee in case anything ever occurs. I also like that I had direct contact with the owner of the company and that he was quick about responding back to be when I had issues. This is the level of service I expect when I'm spending serious money on a service. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to get their garage floor sealed and coated.

Our old 543 square ft garage floor was about 20 years old and was in very poor condition. It had a few small cracks, was discolored, cement dust constantly came to the surface, and it was impossible to keep clean. Keith gave us an estimate to apply his epoxy product, then completed the job a couple of weeks later. The cracks were repaired, and the epoxy applied. It turned out beautifully.
