Leondras came the day we contacted him to give an estimate that was reasonable. He went ahead and did our repairs ( 2 holes left by removal of electrical outlets and a crack in the ceiling) right then and finished in the time he said it would take. He came back the next day and painted the ceiling in the bathroom with the crack and all the walls in the bathroom with the holes. Very reasonable! Left everything cleaner than when he started. Exceptional job by Exceptional Painting company!

Leondras Owens has always done very good work for us going above and beyond what was expected. He has done interior painting and drywall repair for us several times. His work and demeanor are truly excellent. He listens and communicates well so no surprises. We highly recommend Exceptional Painting.

Exceptional Painting came in and did an amazing job repairing the holes that were in my home. He came in and told me exactly what he was going to do, covered my floors and other furniture to ensure nothing was damaged during the process. He was polite, very knowledgeable and had a strong attention to details. I was very please with the outcome of the job. It was like the hole was never there. Truly exceptional. 🤩

Mr. Owens went above and beyond on my dry wall repair job! He was respectful and has strong attention to detail. The repair was done beautifully as if it was never damaged on the first place. However his process is what’s to be applauded. He takes great care of his customers belongings to prevent paint accidents and ensure dust control. This includes covering my furniture is plastic covering and drop cloths in the are and surrounding area of the repair. He truly did an Exceptional job! Will hire again for future projects!!

I have used the service many times for over 20 years. The quality of work was exceptional, dependable, they do what they said they would do, clean, they were meticulous with the work that they do, and explain what they needed to do so there was no surprises. They would come back again next week to paint my cabinets.

Exceptional Painting is the perfect name! Mr. Leondras Owens certainly lives up to the standard he set in naming his company. After receiving several quotes from painters and refacing companies, we decided to hire Exceptional Painting to refresh our natural wood cabinets. It was a big job that included a large kitchen island in a contrasting color and cabinet doors with glass panels, a built in wine rack, some odd table legs and six stools. Mr. Owens promised to complete the job in two weeks but having significant experience working with contractors, I knew that really meant 3-4 weeks if I was lucky. To my extreme pleasure, he started the job on Monday, June 8th (when he promised to) and walked out of my house with the job complete on Friday, June 19th. He provided updates daily and did exactly what he said he would in each update. When he was done, it was as if I had brand new cabinets throughout my kitchen and adjoining rooms. The finish quality is amazing and I have yet to find a flaw in the paint. Joints between cabinet and counter are flawless and my appliances don’t have a single drop or smear of paint on them. Before hand, the cabinets were certainly showing their age not just in color, but in dings and damage from 15+ years of family duty. But after his careful prep work and meticulous attention to detail, my cabinets and doors do not show or act their age at all. In fact, they look better than we even dared to dream they would when we first decided to tackle this project. As we collected estimates early on in the process, all the refacing contractors we spoke to said the same thing, “you can’t really paint the cabinets much cheaper than refacing, so you might as well go with refacing because you essentially get brand new doors and hardware for the same price.” Well guess what? That must be a mandatory line taught at cabinet refacing sales school. And like many sales lines, it simply isn’t true. So while Mr. Leondras didn’t provide the lowest cost estimate, it was substantially lower than all of the bids from the refacing companies. I need to emphasize substantially, as in less than half the price. So, when combined with the truly exceptional quality of his work, the relative value makes Exceptional Painting an easy choice for a painting contractor. While I’m here, I want to also mention that the entire team involved in our project was amazing (you all know who you are). We thank you all for the way you cared for our home and our family while you were here. In the future I will make one call (actually, he prefers you to text him) when I need to hire a painter. I won’t seek quotes from other contractors. I will simply ask Mr. Owens when he can fit me into his schedule, which should be extremely full because you won’t find a better painter in the Triangle. And I will gladly wait until he can work me in. Thanks a bunch Mr. Leondras!

The workers arrived here at my new home in Raleigh and got straight to work. Scheduling was quick and easy and Leondras was polite and professional. Everything was done in less than 5 hours. It was a fantastic job!

Small company but very professional and was very responsive. Hired to reface my kitchen cabinets had them painted and new hardware put on. The cabinets turned out great. They started when they said they would and finished in the time frame we were told. This was definitely the easiest company I have dealt with remodeling and doing upgrades at my home. We are actually hiring them to stain our deck next.

I found Exceptional Painting on Angie's List, where they had a 5-star rating. Angie's List has never steered my wrong, so I rang them up to handle a re-painting of my family room and kitchen ceiling. Leondras and his crew exceeded expectations! They had my family room and kitchen sealed up like a CDC Ebola lab and re-did the ceiling in record time with no spills and no mess. When it comes time to re-paint my house, Exceptional Painting will be my go-to from now on.

Exceptional painting did a great job painting a few rooms and a ceiling in our home. They were very clean while they worked. They were able to flawlessly patch a hole in the wall and hide a huge water stain. They were able to finish a little before schedule so that was a bonus. Overall I would definitely hire them again.

Leondras and his team were incredible. They tackled a laundry list of drywall and ceiling repairs and cracks throughout my home, as well as painting and touch up painting afterwards. They were very friendly and professional, kept me informed throughout the project, asked my input when needed, and provided above and beyond the service and work I was expecting. The owner came by for a quote on the day it was requested. Got a quote within 24 hours and it was quite reasonable in comparison with one other. The owner described the process (where every door and every hing gets numbered and put back in exactly the same place it was taken from) and he showed pictures of how the doors are sanded/primed/painted in his warehouse. He send me photos of any doors/drawers that were damaged to document where there were problems that preceded him. There were problems with slight, but noticeable gaps, in some of the doors - where the miter cuts in the corner of doors were not quite perfect. When the doors were strained, you never noticed, but painted white it was noticeable. So, he caulked those gaps and applied another coat of paint. The cabinets look fantastic - I think we'll double this investment when we sell.
