DURHAM CLEANERS

I would judge performance for most clothes as 'adequate.' Clothes were not great - not well pressed, but okay. However, we last took my son's good quality ($950) suit to be cleaned. It had grease stains on the front. We told them about the stains and on pick up noted they were still there. They gladly took it back for further cleaning. This time the stains were removed, but the front material of the suit jacket was puckered. We were told by the salesperson at Nordstrom that this was due to pressing on too high a heat and that the problem was permanent, due to damage to the material.

The owner promptly apologized and promised to deliver my order to my home that evening. Around 8:30 that evening, the order arrived at my doorstep. I feel the owners went above and beyond to correct a mistake. I am very impressed by the high level of customer service I experienced by them. They turned a bad situation (sitting in the drive-thru line with my 4-year-old for 20 minutes after a long day at work) into a positive one. It has had the effect of making me more loyal to them.

They do a top notch job of cleaning and also they check to be sure the buttons are on and that the zippers are working and all mending is done. They do the work on the premises and have a one day service.
