DODSON PEST CONTROL

We worked with Dodson for 7 years.  They had completed a termite treatment for the previous owners of our home so we continued to use them for annual termite inspections.  We also used them for regular monthly pest control.  We eventually set up an automatic payment process for the monthly service.







The Dodson representatives that came to our house were courteous and professional.  When we had specific problems that required additional treatment, they were responsive and worked on the problems until they were taken care of.  They did not charge extra for these visits per our service agreement.







We terminated our service with Dodson because we went through a period of several months where we were charged for the monthly pest control service but did not receive a receipt of service.  When I addressed this with Dodson, they did not provide evidence of the service or a record of the chemicals they had sprayed at our home.  They could not explain why we were not receiving the receipts and did not make any significant changes to insure that we would receive them going forward.  For this reason, we decided to discontinue the business relationship.

I pay them quarterly. I was happy with the people that came.

The person who comes out is a young Iraqi veteran and a first-class individual. It was he who found the problem we had with the siding which resulted in a big siding project for us. He is always punctual. He calls me the night before to make sure that coming over that day is going to be okay. Actually, in the process of doing the siding, they uncovered some termites. I called Dodson and they came out and treated the soil. He then came back, drilled around and put a bunch of holes in the ground in the area that was infected. He got right on with that. I like his quality of work. He puts a backpack on and goes through all the spaces and all around the exterior of the house. We did find one of those Palmetto bugs one time but we have not had any problems. We have used Dodson the whole 15 years that we?ve been here and will continue to use them. It is $32 a month for the service and I think that their price is reasonable.

They did a very good job exterminating the cockroaches. When we built the porch, we got some again, so they came back and took care of them for free. They are a bit hard to contact sometimes, but eventually they get back to me.
