DAVID ELSTON HARDWOOD FLOORING

Badly! After payment before the final sanding and polyurethane application, the final coat was poured on, puddled and bubbled in numerous places and polyurethane was spilled on baseboards being painted and the floor in another part of the building. Requests to resolve the situation delayed completion, final cleanup and listing of the property for more than 1 1/2 months. During the final 2 weeks of this period, Mr. Elston is arguing that he is not delaying the project. He has been rude and unprofessional telling me he didn't care about my complaints and to "shelve it". I have spent the weekend of 4/14 and 4/15 sanding out the bubbles and puddles he left as well as trying to fill holes and imperfections he left in the floors. Before the problem is corrected I will probably need to contract another vendor to correct the floor treatment. I will probably be considering legal recourse.

A very positive experience - I will definately hire him again. The price was the lowest I had found to refinish over 1000 sq. feet. Everyone else was quoting me double.
