I hate companies that try to sell you something you don't need with scare tactics, including rodents and mold. We will look elsewhere from now on

It was a $99 charge to come out and look and offer a solution but I was okay with that. The bat wasn't present when the assessor arrived. The assessor offered a solution that I felt was overpriced. He pointed out some other areas that seemed to be at risk for a future bat infestation and solutions for those areas that could be implemented. He indicated that addressing the areas he identified would prevent future bat problems. After he left, I noticed several additional areas which seemed met the "at risk" criteria which were overlooked on his assessment. Thus the estimate provided would have been even higher. I had to ask for pictures of the items he suggested I have installed. The bird guards didn't look like what I thought were described. I decided to forego covering all my bases and address the immediate (single) bat issue myself with a water bottle to shoo out the bat and some screen to apply over the outside of the louvers once I was sure he was gone. I'll probably try another company for future bat issues. I didn't like that the assessor arrived almost an hour before his appointment time while I was still at work. Then he called me to ask when I'd be there. It was disruptive and I didn't appreciate that he couldn't arrive at the appointment time, that he called me to ask when I could be there, and that he didn't give me more notice if he needed to arrive early.

At the initial visit a technician (maybe manager?) checked for places the mice could be entering the crawl space (after explaining to me that it was much more feasible to keep them from getting into the crawl space from outside, than to keep them from getting into the house from the crawl space) and identified several places, which he showed me. He provided an estimate and a description of the work to be done. I waited a few days, then contacted them, leaving messages, to schedule the work. They were slow to respond. A technician came and did the work about 2 weeks after the initial visit . He did a good job except at one entry place he didn't do what had been described to me and what he did do was completely ineffective. Also, I realized that a possible entry place, an overflow drain pipe from the W/D closet, had been overlooked at the initial visit. I sent an e-mail about the 2 problems, didn't receive a response, followed up with a phone call. Someone came out and corrected the problems. Even though the drain pipe was not included in the original estimate, they did not charge me anything additional for blocking it. I'm still catching mice about a month later, but I have no way of knowing whether they were already in the house/crawlspace before the work was done or have been breeding in the crawlspace or house, or if new ones are still finding their way in. I knew going into this that excluding mice is hard, and Critter Control warned me that mice can successfully breed without access to the outdoors. They offered to put out poison for any mice already in, but I didn't want to do that.

The way their system works, they're charging per animal removed and you really have no way of knowing how many animals they really did remove. So you're left at taking their word for it.

Albert arrived on time and did a thorough assessment of the problem and treated mice problem. Provided recommendations for prevention underscoring more to less priorities. Professional and patient. Second time using company and pleased with overall service from initial call to completion of work. Total cost $158.00. Well worth it.

First, he couldn't smell it. When I asked him to open the back of the washing machine - two screws - he said that he could not do that because it would ruin my warranty - machine is 22 years old. Two, he went under the house and came up with not a speck of dirt on his yellow shirt, showing me that he had not ventured far from the entrance. Three, then he showed me a menu of services his company offered (all well over $100) in order to find this elusive smell.  A week later I purchased a black light from Amazon for about $10. Immediately I saw where the mouse had been and was able to get rid of him and also wash down every spot in the kitchen where he had urinated.  What did I get for the price of their service - Nada. You think this company could supply their people with black lights - especially those whose noses don't work.

The work they did was good because we don't have a woodpecker bothering us. It was very professional and done with few problems.

We had an opossum family set up residence in our crawlspace.  Critter Control came and removed a number of the young opossums.  They set up traps to catch the remaining ones.  They then replaced the broken screen with a metal one to prevent returnees.  They also replaced all our existing plastic crawlspace screens with metal ones to an animal could not easily chew through.  Critter Control were very professional and did an excellent job.
