ClearDefense Pest Control

We used the monthly service from ClearDefense for several years while living in Chapel Hill. After starting the monthly service, we had a HUGE reduction in the amount of bugs (especially cockroaches) that showed up in our house - as in, we went from several per week to mayve one every month or two. The folks who came out were quick and thorough and we would have absolutely continued our contract with them had we not moved. There was a bit of confusion on our part when closing the account, but Phil reached out within minutes of me sending the email asking for clarification. Phil helped explain how our billing worked and made sure to take care of everything immediately. He turned what I was worried would be a tense interaction into a very nice, quick conversation. If we move back to the Triangle area, we will be sure to again sign up for the ClearDefense services!

I just graduated and moved and was looking for an exterminator because we had a few spiders and millepeds that were causing concern. I was a little nervous because I had no idea where to start but decided to call clear defense pest control because of all their awesome reviews. I immediately called and they were super accommodating and got me in the next week. Kevin came out to our house and listened to all my concerns and was very thorough. I am so thankful to not have to worry about bugs all the time now!!

When it gets warm in the late spring/summer, I've had American roaches invade my kitchen and laundry room. Haven't had anything done for the past two years due to a general concern about pesticides. But this year I just didn't want to deal with them and had ClearDefense. It's only been a day, so maybe I'm reviewing too soon, but I've already found 2 dead roaches, which is a great result and bodes well. The technician, Kevin, is the perfect kind of serviceman in my eyes: thorough, polite and responsive to questions but didn't take up my time with unnecessary talk. Hope I get him again on my service next month. I'll update this if something changes over the next month, but I'm satisfied now and expect I'll be satisfied then.

great. The office staff was super nice and took great care of us for our set up and our technician Phil was very nice, thorough and professional.

I saw immediate results, honestly have barely seen any mosquitoes and zero spiders in the week since they performed the initial service. I thought the technician was very professional and did a really good job of explaining what exactly he was doing and the kind of results I could expect with each of the different sprays and things to keep the pests away.

When I choose Clear Defense Pest Control, the decision was easy! My husband and I had a great pest control company back in Columbus, Ohio so my expectations were high. After observing our neighbor receive his treatment, I was impressed and made a phone call to the company with my list of questions. JACOB BOYLAN, came out and did our initial treatment, he was very friendly, knowledgeable, and listened to my requests for the various areas we wanted treatment. In addition, he took the time to explain everything. Jacob is a credit to the company. I am going to request Jacob for ongoing treatments as I like consistency with service agents, his manner, knowledge, and I am comfortable with him at the house.

I love them. I would definitely use them in the future. The technician's name is Alex. We always have Alex come. He is just extremely helpful and very personable. It goes above and beyond what I expected with the company. They're a little bit expensive.

As always, john-mark runs a very effective and professional business. His technicians are always punctual, professional, mindful, and courteous. Any bug problems we had prior to using their service are completely now a non-issue. Their products are pet/child/environment friendly and outperform by a very large margin the rough chemicals that everyone else uses. I recommend them to everyone that I can.

Our service technician, Aaron Metz, was very professional, asking if it was a good time for him to perform our service. I also showed him where I had seen a few ants thanks to the rain and he gave the area inside a good spray around the door and perimeter.

I was given an evaluation of the house this morning by Sam.  The service was done tonight!!!  I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable pest control service!!!

Let me just say - I love Clear Defense!  We owned a small home in Durham and had roaches constantly running in and out of the house. I couldn't take it anymore so i decided to try out clear defense. With their service- we never had any problems again- not only did we stop seeing roaches, but spiders and sliver fish and all other things disappeared.  We sold that home and clear defense was so easy to work with transferring our service to our new home that we purchased. Not only did they assist us with treatment in selling our house, but they were easy to work with while waiting till we found our new home.

Very punctual, initial service took about an hour to treat interior and exterior of home.  We noticed a lot of spider about a week after the initial treatment.  Contacted them and someone came out the next day to remove cobwebs and reapply treatment.  No issues since.

I was approached by a salesman in my neighborhood.  I was having a problem with fire ants so had been pricing pest control companies when I met the salesman (normally I don't hire solicitors going door to door).  ClearDefense pest control had comparable pricing to other companies and since they were willing to apply treatment same day, I signed a contract.  My contract stipulates $109 per treatment with 4 treatments a year.  I can also call anytime between treatments if I see any problems (red ants, wasp nests, ants, spiders etc...).  The technician (Matt Stearns) was very professional and explained everything he was doing.  He respected my home and furnishings.  He even came back after he was done to remind me to close the garage door!  It is too early to determine the efficacy of the treatments since other than red ants, I did not have a significant pest problem (few spiders here and there). The red ant hills are all currently inactive.  But I like the option of calling between treatments if needed.  Overall, the staff was very professional and explained everything clearly. 

CD has been treating my property for a couple of years now. Jon Mark has established a first-class operation, based apparently on word of mouth advertising and solid work alone. All of the products that they offer are both of the highest quality and completely safe for my son and my pets. They are always punctual and completely professional. We live in a somewhat wooded area, and of course, with that come pests. Our pest issue has been completely nullified since we signed on with clear defense. The true value lies in the mosquito treatment: I was skeptical at first but something had to be done before my family was carried off for some ritualistic mosquito dinner. They took the time to explain the process and it became immediately clear and rational. Since, our mosquito problem has been literally decimated. I made the first call a couple of years ago and haven't looked back. I could not possible refer clear defense enough.

Two salesmen came by last night and got on their hands and knees to show me some problem areas......areas my current pest control company never showed me; sure enough there were a few black widow spiders!  I never even knew I had spiders in my conditioned crawl space let alone the most dangerous spider in the US. The salesman were honest, sincere and passionate about their product and company - I signed up immediately and the technician was out the next day!
The Tech, John, was early and very professional.  He explained everything he was going to do and went right at it.  I saw him spray inside the house (only need inside treatment once), and then went all over the outside taking care of webs, spraying around the house and of course in the two areas I had the black widow spiders.  They also knocked down a couple of wasp nests along the way.  John answered all questions and was very friendly as I questioned him on the pest control he was doing.  He spent probably close to an hour with our first visit.  I felt like John and Clear Defense took the time to know my issues and then took care of them.  I am excited they approached me about their service.

I love Clear Defense Pest Control. I've been using their services for 11 months now and they are the Best. I don't have any pests around the house. That's something that I don't have to worry about anymore. The first month I moved into my home I saw several spiders around the house but after I started using their pest control services, I don't see any spiders around the house. Dustin came and serviced my home today and he was so professional and friendly, that's another reason I'll keep Clear Defense. Because of their great customer service. This is by far the best Pest Control company.

They have a comprehensive program where they take down spider webs and spray for bugs.  They are on time, consistent, thorough and good to work with. 

I have been very happy with ClearDefense.  Since I started using them, I haven't seen any bugs in my house or around my yard, which is a big change, and definitely a welcome one.  I'm looking forward to using my yard more in the warmer months!

We have been very pleased with Clear Defense. They back their services 100 %.  I have had issues with spiders and webs in my garage. Taken care of. I have 2 dogs ( my babies ) They are tick and flea free with the extra prevention in my yard. 
On a professional level our technician Nathan is awesome, and on a personal level I would consider him a friend. He is close to our neighborhood and responds quickly if needed.  Thanks Nate!!!

The technicians were very courteous and professional.  They were quick but hit all the spots that needed a little extra care.  All in all they were very good and would recommend them to others and will continue to use them in the future.
