I paid $400 for the big tree and $100 for a small tree.  I liked that the guy came right away because my tree was falling down and he was able to come out the next day; so I liked that he was available.  There were a couple of issues with the company.  Two guys who came out didn't wear a helmet and that bothered me since they were cutting down a big tree.  They also didn't guide the tree in a way that when the tree came down, it actually crashed into a healthy tree and broke off a number of branches on that good healthy tree.  The guy then said he would come back and cut down the broken branches with his big truck, but he never did, even after I called him back.  So, I wasn't happy about that.  The only good thing I found was that they came quickly because I was hoping to find somebody soon as I was concerned about my tree falling on the neighbors walking by.  If they come back someday soon, I might change my mind.  I gave them a hefty tip too and regretted afterwards because I realized that they actually didn't come back as they said they would.  The price was reasonable and good, although I haven't had such an experience.  The guy was really friendly and I took pictures the whole time.  Their responsiveness and punctuality were both good.

Everything went perfectly and was completed promptly.

Bill Cooley of KCs Tree Service cut the tree down by climbing it himself he accidently dropped a tree limb on to the roof and it speared into the attic,Mr Cooley agreed for me to pay him $300.00 and the roof repair man $150.00.On 12-14-11 Currie Burnette of Bull City Tree Service was contacted by me to make repairs to my yard and my neighbors yard and to pay me back the $50.00 above on his original estimate that it cost me to get the job done. He refused to do anything.
 

He did everything perfectly. I didn’t need firewood, so I did not ask him for the timber. I would rate him highly and would use him again in the future if necessary.

Overall, this was a positive experience.  We were already in shock from the storm and the tree falling on the house.  The situation just looked impossible.  But after explaining to me how they would be able to remove the tree, I already felt better.  Then, they showed up (with impressive looking equipment) when they said would, and just by the confidence and efficiency they demonstrated, I could tell they had done this before, many times.  I felt even better.  When the tree was actually off the house, and there really was no further damage, I felt better still. When they were getting ready to drive away with that awful tree on the back of the dump truck, and he handed me an invoice for the agreed upon price with no hidden charges, I thought I might hug the guy!  But I gave him a tip instead.  : )
