Bruce and his time showed up on time everyday and worked hard all day long.  They cleaned up each night and kept in mind my three year old that might get into things and placed anything dangerous out of her reach.  If I found anything I was not happy with the fixed it right away. He stated if we found anything that they missed or needed fixed and he would be happy to come back and fix it. I have asked them back to power wash my house and clean and restain my back deck when it gets warmer.  I would like to thank Bruce and his team for a job well done.

In my opinion poor surface preparation was the cause of the stain peeling in less than one week after completion on approximately 25% of exterior surfaces. Contract proposal stated "All areas peeling will be sanded and primed" as well as pressure washed before painting and staining. House siding was sprayed with an airless sprayer with only one coat of Sherwin Williams Woodscapes stain.

Paid contractor on day 4 in full. After several days I noticed severe delamination and made several calls to Bruce Byrd, owner of Band B Paining. Owner finally responded and inspected work after several weeks. Stated he would correct the problem as soon as his schedule allows. He sent his crew back to test a small area (5 ft x 5 ft) , which included sanding and repainting with a brush. Crew still noticed areas in test spot were not adhering properly and stopped work. Crew thought there was a product failure and even mentioned they had never seen this type of problem before.

Requested contractor AND Sherwin Williams to recommend a solution on why all four sides of home were peeling after one week. After several weeks with repeated calls to Sherwin Williams corporate they finally sent the regional sales representative to inspect. His only response was that the paint was not the problem. Poor surface preparation and painting less than 24 hrs after power washing was likely the cause. Simply there was too much water from the pressure washing left in the siding and caused the paint to lift off.

After Sherwin Williams inspected, I never heard back from contractor. Total experience was not a good one and at that point I decided to use another contractor.

Paint overspray took several weeks to clean off windows and door knobs. Caulking also later failed due to painting directly on top of wet caulk.

We were so pleased with his exterior work, we are going to have him do some interior painting. We have one of those really high two story houses and he did a really good job. He did fill repair, he did caulking, he did wood replacement, all within that $4,000.00. We got a referral for him from a Realtor who uses him for both interior and exterior. I will definitely use him again and I feel very comfortable referring him to someone.

B and B painting was referred to me. I proceeded to go to Angie's list to do some research on them. Since then I've used them multiple times, and so have my neighbors. I will continue to use them.

Bruce and his employees did an awesome job. When I returned from work you could not tell they had been there except for the fact that I had beautiful walls. Everything was perfect, not a spec of paint was found anywhere and all furniture was put back into place.
I recommended him to my neighbor and he was equally pleased with the exterior painting on his home.

Simple: Don't hire Band B (Bruce Byrd)
