I think they did a hurry job it was just to quick for and the quality wasn't as good as I had hoped it would be.
In any event, they seemed genuinely shocked to see that furniture had been painstakingly pulled out of the way for the carpet cleaning. Angela said that it should have been explained to us that they would service around the furniture and not to pull furniture out of the way. That would have been excellent to know prior to having them stand in our living room. My husband & I hurried, pushed and pulled larger items like our couch and heavy chairs back to their original location so we could get the cleaning started. It had *only* taken about two hours or so to move these items, surely we could move them back in 45 seconds or so with our 13 month old watching us behind his baby gate - right? Nope.
Anyway, The carpet cleaning began and was over in about 30 minutes. Upon doing the "final walk through" I'd pointed out a major area of concern. Rather than attempting to re-clean or offer a different solution to the obvious DARK spot, I was told that A) The sun may have dyed the carpet. B) Friction from our seldom used side door discolored it for good. C) The padding underneath may have been stained from a lack of vacuuming. D) It could have been the house settled (?? ?? ??) and a few other suggestions that I started to tune out once I realized I would get nowhere by continuing to question the quality of the cleaning. Angela was continuing to explain this while her husband was packing their vehicle up with the machinery they used. Dennis walked in on her lengthy "explanation" and cosigned her thoughts. As he was about to start over his rendition I stopped him, thanked them, and they left. I don't see how a small business owner could feel comfortable leaving an obviously upset customer's home, but that's what happened.
I would NOT use their services again. I will be trying the pricier but highly rated dry carpet cleaning services by another merchant in a few weeks and reviewing their service.
****OH one more thing, we were told to keep our A/C on 70 and our ceiling fans on so our carpets would be dry within 5 hours. They left our home more than NINE [Read: 9] hours ago (It's 10:30pm right now) and our carpets are still too wet to step on. Literally TOO wet to use. We typically use our hallway / living room / dining room frequently with our child who just learned to walk. Ever try keeping a 13 month old out of the main living areas when all he wants to do is walk? Fun.
Bad business. A grade of D is just.
