Air Innovations continues to impress! Technician Teddy completed the A/C portion of our annual Maintenance plan today. He was punctual, and efficiently carried out his inspection of our split-level system on both outside- & attic-located equipment over the course of 1+ hours. But his service didn't stop there: Because our split-A/C system is now 20 years old, he alerted me that its life is now very limited, which prompted a discussion of near future replacement. And on this topic, he was VERY informative (I learned how very expensive HVAC & A/C systems have become-- both to repair/upgrade & replace, owing largely to upgraded coolant/refrigerant requirements), and he subsequently motivated me to start exploring strategies to upgrade our system in the next year or two via purchasing-options that might save me some money on what will be a VERY expensive proposition. All-in-all, I think this service call far exceeded the value of the usual visit, and serves to continue AI's exceedingly fine reputation and commitment to quality... from the owner on down through his various technicians who have served us.

Was satisfied with this company for five years, but they began "upselling" at every visit. Example - had a coil to replace under warranty at 6 years of age and was told it was best to replace the whole system because "who knows what will happen next?". Also, estimate was to install new coil (labor and refrigerant only) was over $2,000. Got a second opinion for Modern Mechanical, who advised that HVAC system should easily last 10 or more years and installed warranty coil for $1,200. I now have my service contract with Modern Mechanical.

Travis and his team have been great, particularly in terms of being responsive. Most all is handled without a hitch. We had a complicated issue that took some trial and error, but once we paid for the original repair, they made multiple trips and used several parts without charge. I would highly recommend them to handle HVAC needs.

We only use Air Innovations for our air conditioning problems. We've been using Travis and his team for years, on referral from my father, who is a home inspector, and have never had any reason to switch companies. Travis (and his team members) is honest and legitimately tries to teach you what is wrong with your system, why he has to do the things he needs to do, and will not do more than what you need in order to charge you more. We recently had to have the AC unit replaced at the condo we rent out, and because of the age of the community, we had to have the entire ancient system replaced. I could tell Travis felt bad for the cost of such a small system, but he explained the whole reasoning to us in a way that made us understand what we were paying for, which I really appreciate. Not a week later one of our own AC units needed to be replaced at our house, and of course we used Air Innovations there as well. We won't use anyone else.

It went smoothly. Got the 2 new overflow interruption switches installed as part of the code.

Fixed leak with sealant and refrigerant. Sought to fix first, without up selling to a replacement system. It worked and bought us time w current system! Glad we called them first.

They are fantastic, no games as far as overselling, thorough explanation of every needed repair and part. On the last call, while they were repairing my AC unit, they noticed that the Town of Cary had overtightened our irrigation system during inspection and caused a leak. Something that we never would have noticed and they happened to see. Talk about above-and-beyond!

Travis was professional and showed up when said he would. He was clear in explaining the problem and gave options in repairing my AC unit. He was honest and did not try to upsale me with anything that I did not need. I will use Air Innovations heating & cooling again with future HVAC work.

Travis as the owner came out and walked through all of my options for a new system. He walked me through what would be most efficient and made sure I clearly understood what my options were. He was timely, friendly, and very professional. I felt comfortable with exactly what he recommended. His team arrived immediately and worked tirelessly and efficiently to finish the job.

Travis was very prompt and was at our home in just 5 hours. We told him the problem and he just charged the diagnostic fee of $89 as he felt the fix was very minor! We had been having problems with our unit every winter for the past 5 years and we were happy that we got the right person finally who was very honest, courteous and punctual. We had spent $300 every year with other technicians. We will definitely call him again if needed.

They came at 5:30 in the evening the same day I called. The tech quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired without trying to sell me anything extra or anything I did not need. I was very pleased and they earned a loyal customer!

Travis was professional, transparent, and great to work with all around. My renter's A/C was not working so I called Monday morning and they worked me into the schedule for that afternoon. I won't recommend another HVAC company again - I've found my company.

I would give this company an A+ rating if I could. Based on our recent experience, I highly recommend Air Innovations. Travis (the owner) promptly responded to my call personally and decided to check out our system himself as we were having so many issues - both heating and air. Although, we were not available at that time, he offered to schedule a diagnostic/service call the next day and ended up scheduling just 2 days later. It was apparent both prior to and during his visit that excellent quality service and customer satisfaction is his primary goal. He not only came on the day he was scheduled, but he was able to come earlier than the scheduled time and let us know when he was on the way. He was very professional, very knowledgeable, did not do a rush job and was very reasonably priced. He was able to quickly diagnose the root of most of our problems as being a thermostat installed previously that was not designed to properly operate our type of system, some wiring issues and a separate problem with the gas furnace. Our system issues had been ongoing for almost 2 years without successfully being diagnosed by others. Therefore, we are estatic to find Travis and his expertise and to now have a fully functional heat pump and a soon to be fully functional gas furnace. It was late in the day by the time it was determined that the gas furnace needed additional work so as our gas furnace will not be needed until next winter, we agreed that one of his team would return to finish the furnace repairs. Travis took the time to explain why we were having the system issues and what needed to be done to fix them and how things work, etc. He was very patient and thorough in answering my many questions about what was going on, why and what needed to be done, etc. This was very much appreciated. As a result, I am sure that he spent more time on the call than when the customer is not so inquisitive (approximately 3 hours) but didn't seem to mind at all. Air Innovations will definitely be our choice of heating & air conditioning service companies going forward. It is refreshing to find a company that we feel we can trust and depend on for our heat/air needs. Unfortunately, they are not so easy to find these days. Thanks to Angies List for providing a service that makes it more likely to find these companies.

Travis is professional, honest, friendly.... trustworthy. Will stick with Air Innovations from this point forward.

I would like to say a Big Thank You to Travis, he was able to diagnosis what was wrong with our air conditioner in no time.Even though his company does not service our area, but the Northern Durham, Raleigh, Apex area he was will to work us in. His crew of Shannon and Eddie, were very professional and right to the point. I am so grateful for the work and quick response and caring that  they all showed. The experience was very smooth-I went from call to having someone looking at the unit in the span of just a few hours. The inspection was performed with expertise and completeness, and the options presented afterwards were unbiased and insightful.
