I was looking for a home inspector for a house I'm buying in Cary and called Tony. He was immediately available via phone to answer my questions and schedule the inspection (he was very flexible and worked around my schedule)!
I like how his rates are transparent and on his website (based on sqft) and his pricing was competitive (I got quotes from 4-5 inspectors in the area).
The online pre inspection approval and report system is very helpful (to share with seller, agent, mortgage company, etc).
Photos were included with report and he was highly knowledgable about what is good and bad in the house. He also arrived on time - which is always a plus!
Would strongly recommend him!

Stay as far away from this guy as possible.  Sent his son-in-law into the crawl to dump Mr. Clean all over the place.  Even the makers of this product say it has no effect on mold.  Made the whole house reek of Mr. Clean.  We were forced to open the windows (35 degrees outside) to air the place out while I mopped up the puddles left behind in the crawl,  placed box fans throughout, and sealed the ducts with mastic.

This was my buyer's inspector. He was supposed to complete the inspection between 1:30 and 3:30. I was not let back into my home until 5:30. Upon entering my home, lights were left on, water was running from a shower, outdoor straw and so on all over the living room. I raced around for an hour cleaning up, wrenching my lower back. Have been in terrible pain for over three weeks. Am unemployed and cannot afford medical treatment. Told my broker about all this; he was surprised. I don't care--Tony and gang--do not hire them. I have been a manager of client services for over 40 years. You do not want to hire this company.

July 24, 2011: The severe back injury caused by the actions of this house inspector lasted for over six weeks.  DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY OR HIS COMPANY. And my broker from Prudential York Simpson in Durham, asked me not to report him. Oh please!! Do not go there either!

I am a real estate agent and I recommend Tony all the time for home inspections. He is extremely thorough and explains his findings in a way that is very easy to understand. He takes lots of pictures and e-mails the report the next day.
