The team was friendly and professional. We were thrilled with the quality of their work. They kept the house very clean and vacuumed the pantry after they were done to remove all sawdust and ensure the install was perfect. We would hire Reliabuilt again without any hesitation.

After doing all my research into composite decking products and railing products, I contacted 5 contractors for quotes, of which 4 responded. It is definitely a good idea to get a comfortable number of quotes for your project as I found there to be as much as a $7000 difference between competing contractors for my project. With some contractors you end up paying for their heavy advertising budgets. Some contractors may not choose to quote for whatever reason so getting more than 2 quotes is advised. I also found that each contractor, during their visit, was able to contribute addition information about my project, good or bad, that I had not taken into account previously, so it is definitely a good idea to speak with at least several for that reason alone. I chose Relia-Built Construction because I felt very comfortable with Andy who is one of the owners I believe they provided me the best value for my dollars spent. Andy was my contact. He was easy to work with, knowledgeable, accommodating and professional. He was able to provide me with a written contract that we both worked-up together and there was no big up-front payment required. Additionally, Andy was on the job working with his very able crew on my project. Once the project actually began, they took  two days to strip off all the old decking, railings, lattice and steps. then they went about checking the under-deck support structure, doing additional nailing and adding additional wood support wherever necessary. For the next three days, Andy and crew left, which was planned in advance, while I had a handyman service come in and power wash and stain the complete under-deck structure.
After that, the Relia-Built crew returned, 4 strong and punctual as usual,  to begin the rebuild. Just by watching them work, it was evident that they knew what they were doing. Cut and corner joints were perfect, everything laid out precisely as it should be. New 4"x 4" rail posts bolted or boxed in so they don't move. Composite material rail sections installed so everything looks uniform. The quality of the build was reflected in the end result. Andy also suggested that we upgrade the lattice to create a more up-scale appearance. And by recessing the lattice 5" back from the front of the 6"x 6" support posts, it did in fact provide that customized appearance to the deck.
All in all, from start to finish, I was very satisfied with Relia-Built Construction and definitely would consider them for future projects. Andy was easy to work with, and true to his word, doing everything as he said he would do. There was always good communication between us. His crew was always on time, doing quality work, No short cuts, no unexpected surprises. They honored the contract completely. Definitely on my list to contact for the next project.
Most important, take the time to do your homework and planning in advance of speaking to a contractor.
