Lakeside HVAC did repairs for some damaged ductwork in my home. The work was fine and the price seemed reasonable. The reason for the 1 star rating is the professionalism of the company. The sales rep came to my home to complete an estimate, during which time h made me aware of a need to pull a county permit prior to completing the work. I agreed they would pull such permit. No other mention was made of the process. It tool 3 days and several calls from me to receive my quote. Once accepted, it took an additional 4 days and several calls to get the work scheduled. The technicians arrived on Friday morning and completed the work with no incident. I was happy with the quality of the work. I was left with an invoice to pay by calling the office. I called to pay the invoice Monday morning. Payment was processed, but no receipt was ever sent. On Tuesday someone from Lakeside called me to schedule a county inspection. I explained that this was the first I was hearing of an inspection need. Once the invoice was paid, my drywall contractor came and installed new drywall, closing the effected area. It would not be possible to have an inspection. She said she'd look into options. On Friday I received an automated email form the county with my inspection schedule for the following Tuesday (more than a week after the work was complete). I called to investigate what happened and was told I needed to contact the sales rep. So I called him and was told that he explained there was an inspection during the estimate. I reminded him he only mentioned pulling a permit, but no inspection. Also never was it mentioned when the work was complete or the invoice paid. He then went on to lie to me and say they are only legally allowed to schedule inspections once they receive payment. He also falsely stated I had agreed to this in my sales contract. No such language exists in the sales contract. My concern was needing to remove newly installed drywall to allow for an inspection and who would need to pay for that work. The sales rep said I needed to speak to the owner of the company to work that out. No call form her ever came. I then reached out to be connected to her. To say she was unprofessional would be a compliment. She didn't have a care for my predicament, simply repeating lies the sales rep told me. She then accused me of being derogatory, despite me using no derogatory terms or tone. Then went on to say she needed to take the request to the board the following week. It is now 7 days since that call and I am still waiting for a return call. I will never do business with this company again, and I caution others to beware as well

It was great! Before that, they also installed our whole heating and air conditioning system. They were punctual, cleaned up after their work, and very professional. They gave recommendation to us to improve air flow.

The service was great, they just recommended to change the wires, before I could change the thermostat to a regular one. What I have right is a communicative, 3 wired thermostat, but I want to use a regular 8 wired thermostat, so they suggested for the wiring to be changed before changing. They worked with me very well and I was very happy with their service.

I purchased a new heat pump through Lowe's in Huntersville. Their contractor for the job was Lakeside Heating and Cooling in Denver. From the estimate through the entire installation process I was treated as a valued customer. No pressure. No attempt to up-sell. The consultants from Lowe's and Lakeside were great. The installers were exceptional. Very professional and did a great job. I would and will use them again. And the pricing was great.

From start to finish, dealing with this company has been a good experience. I had to replace my 13 year old HVAC system and met with Scott Garner, their Sales Representative.  He explained all of my options, and walked me through the financing application, as that was the way I decided to pay for the system. They work with Lowe's.
They removed the old system units and replaced them with a new Trane system. Everyone was courteous, professional, expert, and worked efficiently. This is a well run company.
I feel this company is the best, most honorable in my area. For that reason alone I am thrilled.

We got estimates from 4 different companies. 2 of them I wouldn't even consider, one was pretty good, and Lakeside was by far the best. They were not the cheapest, but I liked their professionalism, and the product. This is a Christian owned company and I would recommend them to anyone

Everything went great - my old furnace was in a very tight crawl space and several companies told me they could not put a new one back in. Lakeside did it with no problem ( I shouldn't say no problem because I could tell it was a difficult installation but no one ever complained ) My electrical is very old and I was worried about that passing code but that was also handled with apparent care and safety. I had several companies look at my job and one actually bold faced lied and said I needed all new ductwork which would have cost another $3000. None of the other companies who bid the job saw this as being necessary. I went with Lakeside because I found them trustworthy and the sales rep talked to me a lot about my electrical issues and gave me some good advice. He knew right away how to handle the issues my home presented and was obviously very experienced. I'm glad I got several bids because I learned something new with each bid and really learned which questions to ask and Lakeside always seemed to be truthful - that goes a long ways with me!

The furnace had to be installed in the attic which is accessible only via pull down stairs.  Given the size and weight of the furnace, it was an extremely difficult job.  Some minor damage occurred during the process of carrying the furnace up the attic stairs.  After the install Lakeside promptly arranged to have all the damage repaired to our satisfaction.  This year, during the annual maintenance, the technician changed all the filters, cleaned both units inside and out and checked that everything was operating properly.

Same day service.  Freezing of evaporator coils indicated low refrigerant in my air conditioning system.  Visual leak check of condenser and evaporator did not uncover any obvious leaks.  Technician stated that system had a very slow leak, likely in evaporator coils.  Technician stated evaporator replacement would run about $1500.  However, the technician stated that restoring full refrigerant level would at a minimum would last for the remainder of the cooling season, and perhaps several years. So I opted for adding refrigerant. The air conditioning system did operate fine for the remainder of the cooling season.
