Jim has been our lawn guy for 2 or 3 years now, and he does a very good job. He mows regularly, and makes time to do additional more labor-intensive jobs like pine needles/mulch work. The bigger jobs require a bit more patience with his schedule since he's a 1-man team, but he provides a valuable service at a really good price. Communicates well over e-mail and text. Highly recommend Jim for a quality of work.

Found Jand S on Angie's List. He appeared to be located within 30 minutes of my home and seemed like he worked on his own (which is what I wanted). Called Jim to receive an estimate for the lawn work as listed above as well as hedge trimming, flower planting, and mulch/pine needle installation. Jim arrived at my home when he said he would for the estimate. Prices were very, very reasonable so I decided to give him a shot. No annual contract, just month to month. I asked if he had other customers near my home and he said "yes, 5." I didn't want him going out of his way just to manage my lawn so this was welcome news. First day of mowing season, he arrived when he said he would and did a good job except with the blowing of concrete surfaces which I emailed him about and he fixed thereafter. After about 5 or 6 weeks of mowing, I received a voicemail on the day he was to come out to mow my lawn telling me that he had to quit maintaining my lawn. He said he was overwhelmed and my home was "too far out of the way." Being overwhelmed is understandable, but I would have appreciated a bit more notice in regards to his quitting. I was now left to get estimates from other landscapers right in the middle of mowing season. A huge hassle and one that could have been avoided either by (A) Not offering to do work at my home in the first place because it was too far out of the way, or (B) Giving me more notice about quitting (like 2 minutes after my yard had been mowed). Anyway, Jim is a nice guy and seems like a hard worker, but this situation unfortunately could have been handled much better on his part. My lawn still hasn't been mowed (it's been almost a week since he quit but I found someone to start soon) and weeds are growing in the lawn and beds. No so sure about the effectiveness of that "weed spraying" job he did??

Everything was done beautifully and on time for our big 4th of July bash. I continue to use Jim to maintain the yard and he is always punctual and notifies me of any issues asap. Super nice guy and a joy to work with. You can't go wrong.

James is great to work with. I've never had a problem with him in the few years he has done various lawn care and pressure washing jobs for us. I can tell you in this world it is hard to find good people and James is a good person.
