Dealing with owner Jace was easy. He was thoroughly professional, informative and punctual for our initial meeting and his pricing was fair. His 3-man painting crew started at 9AM and the job was completed by 5PM. They were courteous, efficient and neat and the finished product met my expectations. For this project, I interviewed 4 painting contractors, CertaPro's price quote was not the lowest, nor was it the highest quote that I received. But it was a competitive price. After interviewing all of my initially selected contractors I felt most comfortable with the information and responses I received from CertaPro of North Charlotte. Now that the work has been completed, I can say that my due diligence led me to picking the right contractor for my project. Jace and his CertaPro crew have delivered a very good looking finished product along with a sense of "value received for money spent". I would recommend contacting him if you are looking for a "professional" painting contractor for your project

Employees were very nice and courteous. Manager came on site during the project. They addressed all concerns I had. Did a great job. Our house looks great.

They were on time and very efficient. When I found a couple of things that needed touched up, they returned promptly and completed the work

The owner Jace went over and above to get our property ready to sell. He was very responsive and took care of items that came up considering we were out of town when the work was done. He could not have been more supportive and quality of the work was excellent and we would recommend him.u.

The project with Certa Pro was Bad...We had to hire new painters to fix all of what Certa Pro messed up throughout our renovation. Very costly!

When I met the PM for CertaPro, I told him the new built-ins needed to be sprayed not rolled on. He ensured me that the roller the painters use is the best. When they were done, I was not happy at all with the finish of the built-ins. The surface is rough and the detailed work is lacking. The painters did a nice job on the walls and molding but they should have listened to me and sprayed on the finish to the new built-ins.

I called the PM after the job was complete and he said there is nothing they can do about it now and I was not willing to pay more money to have it sprayed on. I will not use them again due to the poor quality of the built-ins.

The owner is very nice and willing to help out if we did have some problem. He was very customer service friendly and willing to rectify the problem, but because we did encounter some problems, I was not too thrilled about that. Overall, they are great and again, they were willing to help and they did rectify the problem. I do not know if I would use them again, but I would not hesitate if somebody else had a better experience. It might not be just them. It was not the crew. It was not the owner. The owner did great and he stepped up.

From the start Jace was punctual for my estimate appointment, pointed out some items about my walls that I had not noticed before and was provided me with a timely estimate.  Once I selected this company again Jace was great about getting my job scheduled and within two weeks of my estimate.  The crew that came out were polite, hard working and left my house looking beautiful and clean.  I used some pretty dark colors on several walls and I could not be happier with the way it turned out!  I will definitely use Jace and his team for future work.

Jace has always been easy to work with. I have hired him previously to stain my deck, and hired him again to paint a majority of the interior of my home. His crew was very friendly, and tried to be as neat as possible. I liked that they removed switch plates instead of painting around - seen too many painters take that shortcut. Work is great quality and painters weren't offended when we pointed out a couple of areas that needed a minor touch-up.

Work done well. Interface with certapro rep was good. Painters were skilled, focused, performed work well. Good job. Work done on time with punctulality.

They did the work in one day. They are excellent. They are professional painters. You can tell the difference between them and people who do it part time. The owner is wonderful! You get a year guarantee and I did use that. It is very rare that you get a guarantee on painting. The price was excellent and fair. They clean up well. They are always on time and ready to work.

Everything went great.  Mr Diaz, the owner & Autoro & Lee, the painters were very nice people.

Jace and his team of painters were very responsive from the start of the job; I received a quote in a timely manner; I was satisfied with the price and the work started within the next week around the weather.  The painters were courteous, timely and the job site was clean when they departed.  Jace was very responsive to my requests and was able to ensure that all rotted wood was replaced and the job was done to my satisfaction.  House looks beautiful, and  I will be calling on them to paint my home interior, when I get to that project!

CertaPro exceeded our expectations!
We just moved into a 15-year-old home that needed the entire interior painted. We had several painters come in and give us a quote. CertaPro's price was competitive with the other bids, but the owner, Jace, also made note of areas that needed extra prepping before painting so that the end results would be better. We appreciated this attention to detail, as we wanted a painter who would solve problems rather than just cover them up. The job was estimated while the previous owners were still in the home, so once the house was empty, it was obvious that there was additional prepping to do, and CertaPro went above and beyond to do the extra work. We usually do our own painting and home repairs because we are very neat and meticulous, but this was a big job and we needed to hire someone we could trust to do a neat, clean job.  Jace's team was very courteous and respectful, and Jace stopped by several times to check the progress and to check in with us.  We also had some unforeseen (and unrelated) home repairs to do while they were painting, and they were able to work around us and then come back to finish after we were out of the way.  That showed us a lot of respect for our situation and our time.  CertaPro did a great job and we are extremely pleased.
