Great, fast and easy, very professional

Larry did an exceptional job. From the initial phone call for him to come out and provide an estimate to completion, he was just terrific. He communicated with us all along the way. He provided a lighting demo by placing all the lighting around our home and left it for us to look at the placement and make any modifications. He even came out at dusk to do a final tweek per our modifications. We are extremely happy with the final project. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is interested in looking at outdoor lighting.

Larry is great; he was prompt in returning my call, came when he said, and set up a beautiful lighting demonstration that we could look at over several evenings (the only way to see outside lighting). When we agreed which lights where, he returned with his trustworthy assistant and completed the job. Everything is warranted for life!

Everything went very well. ACL installed our front lights a few years ago and we were very happy with the work so we call Larry back to do the backyard. I appreciate the time he took helping us decide which style of light to use in each area. We wanted the lighting to be very subtle.... enough to light up the walkways but not shining in our face.

ACL was very prompt in the initial visit as well as the install date. Price was a bit higher than I anticipated but the service and quality met my needs. You get what you pay for. I am satisfied. I would use again should I have the need to expand lighting.

I worked mostly with Larry. He was very knowledgeable about outdoor lighting, equipment, etc. The work was done well, he explained what they were doing and why. Cost was a little less than I thought it would be. I will definitely use ACL Outdoor Lighting the next time I have any problems with my system.

I called several companies and left the message that I was
looking to replace my existing landscape lights. Also, I mentioned that I knew
it was short notice, but I needed someone to come out that week because I was
having some major landscaping done that weekend.  I wanted to get the lights in before they
covered the area with mulch. ACL was one of the first to respond. Larry
Velander, the owner, called me that afternoon and after I explained the
urgency, he came by the next day to take a look. He gave a fair and reasonable price
for the work to be done and he had enough lights with him to do the job with
the exception of being short one path light. Larry said he could have it out by
the next morning which was fine with me. However, Larry actually got the other
light out that evening much to my surprise, which I noticed when I returned
home from dinner with my wife.  He and
his assistant were friendly and professional as well as completed the job
quickly. One of the reasons I initially selected Larry?s company among those
that I called was that ACL was the only company I found that did outside
lighting only. In addition, it was a big plus that ACL services the lights they
install. So, I have one less trip to Lowes or Home Depot to make. I would
definitely use Larry and ACL again for any outdoor lighting needs.

Larry (owner) is consumate professional that has a passion for detail.  He visited our home an additional 4-5 times after the initial set-up to reposition and add/remove additional lighting based on our feedback.  He was always on time for appointments and very responsive to feedback.  I would highly recommend his services to anyone that is considering additing exterior lighting around their property.

Called Larry based on ACL's reviews on Angie's List. So glad we did. Larry returned my initial call promptly, and spoke with me in detail regarding his services and what to expect. His friendly, easy-going manner immediately won us over, and within a few days he and his crew had set up a demo around our home at no charge. This allowed us to move the lights around in order to get the configuration that we were happiest with prior to the actual permanent installation. Within 24 hours we were sold on the radiant brilliance provided to accent our new home, and when Larry quoted a very reasonable price, it was a done deal.
It took a few weeks to get approval from our HOA, but once we finally did Larry and his crew were ready to complete the final installation. Working efficiently yet thoroughly, they had the lighting up in no time, and Larry got us started on programming the timer.
Busy with the myriad of tasks associated with settling into our new home, I haven't found time to write this review until now, so it's long overdue. That said, the time has allowed me to confirm that Larry and his team did a fantastic job, as every single component of our landscape lighting has functioned flawlessly.
I highly recommend ACL Outdoor Lighting to those in the market for landscape lighting and also those who may not be familiar with this type of lighting. It greatly enhances the look of a home, and Larry's the guy to get it done.

First and foremost, Larry is all about customer service and making the customer happy!

He came out and set up his display lights back when the weather was really crummy (cold, damp, frozen ground). After a few days of letting us "test drive" his lighting package, he came back out and at our request, tweaked a couple of lights and added one more. He did a great job with their placement.

Also, we had one light go out. He was back out here within a couple of days and everything is now perfect.

Larry is a great guy to deal with, he stands behind his product 110% and I have zero reservations recommending him if you want landscape lighting installed.

He did a good job. He called himself Larry, the Lighting Guy. I used him most of the summer. I didn't price anybody else.

This was one of the best experiences I have had with a contractor/service provider of any sort. As the other reviews stated Larry was extremely responsive, punctual and easy to work with. He initially came out and installed a demo which I assumed would be for a couple of nights. It turned out that I went on vacation and he went on vacation so he left the demo in place for several weeks so we could be sure we had time to see it and make a good decision. At first we only lit the front of the house but we wanted to do more so he came back and set up a demo for the back yard as well and left it in place for a week or so. We tweaked the set up a couple of times which required him to come back and add/remove lights and install filters to reduce the brightness. Nothing we asked was a problem. Once we made a decision they came back and installed quickly. In addition to installing their lights they repurposed some existing lights we had to other locations and converted them from halogen to LED....at no additional charge. I've certainly never had that experience with a service provider before. Pricing was straight forward and very competitive and the quality of the product he uses is very high. I never write reviews online but I couldn't resist making sure others appreciated the quality of our experience with ACL. Honestly if you're looking at an outdoor lighting project I wouldn't waste your time calling others, you've won't be disappointed.

The owner actually answers the phone!  He was responsive, he gave me a date and time to meet him and he arrived on time.  He discussed the options and his preferences for design and installation.  He offered to setup a demo and two days later came and setup the demo which is huge. To actually see the house and landscape lit with the ability to adjust to your taste is a big deal.  He worked alone for about 4 hours setting up the demo.  The demo stayed up for about a week and he came by again to discuss what we liked, necessary adjustments, etc.  We agreed on a price and time for installation. He came back on the date and time that we discussed and spent the majority of a day installing the lighting.  Overall, Larry was a pleasure to work with on this project.  Highly recommend him to others.

From the first call, things went very smoothly.  Larry kept in communication with me constantly and I knew everything around cost and scheduling ahead of time.  They were very careful and their work was all done very professionally.  Best of all, the house looks great at night after this lighting upgrade!

Larry Velander was excellent to work with.  VERY responsive.  He came out and set up the lights to show us at night what they would look like.  The initial estimate was more than i wanted to spend, so he scaled it back just a little and it still came out great.  We had one malfunction on the light sensor and he was out the next morning (Sunday) to switch out the faulty sensor.  Couldn't ask for a more responsive company.  Will be using them in the spring for light in our backyard.

Larry was great!  He was very willing to accommodate our schedule and we enjoyed working with him.  The quality and placement of his lights is top notch.
