 + -1 moreAs I mentioned, Christina had previously done some work for us to "redesign" our house room by room, & it looks amazing! We've been told that our home now looks like a magazine--only one for real life! (It's so nice to live in a "grown up home!") Christina has supported our vision for a warm, cozy, family-centered home with our passions without having overly-themed rooms AND without spending a lot of money to buy new stuff. Part of her talent is using things we already own, but displaying them in a WOW way instead of just as random stuff throughout the house. She is truly gifted and a joy to work with--great personality & great mix of kindness & honesty. I never would have thought I'd hire an interior designer because I feared they'd gasp at my furnishings or make me spend a lot of money to buy new "decorator" stuff. Glad I found The Redesign Company, as Christina is not just a "re-designer," she is an artist--and I am grateful that she has chosen our home as one of her canvases.
Description of Work: Christina came to my house last week just to make a few tweaks in a couple of rooms. We have worked together a few times over the past year, and this visit was the icing on the cake now that I've learned some of her theories of design & been confident enough to try some new things on my own. I just wanted her to give me that extra bit of her wisdom to make what I had done 90% better. (Yes, she's THAT good!) So this time, she picked paint colors for 2 rooms, suggested slight rearrangements in 2 rooms, made recommendations of where I could find that "perfect" lampshade & a color of curtains that I wanted to buy. She also hung a few pictures & a lamp that I was scared to poke a hole in the ceiling for. Previous work has included choosing the perfect color of tile & paint for our living room, doing space plans for the most difficult living room you could ever imagine, recommending a great place for a new sofa we needed to replace due to water damage, & general "fluffing" of our stuff.
