Lighthouse Residential Remodeling

I wouldn’t recommend them to a snake. In 4 months, I called and asked why they hadn’t started. He said our neighborhood hasn’t approved the project. I went to the neighborhood and asked if there was a problem with them putting the addition on our house. They said it hadn’t been submitted. After speaking to a supervisor, he said he would submit it. He did not submit a CAD drawing, he submitted a hand drawing. They denied the hand drawing. He resubmitted a CAD drawing and it was approved. He started the job while I was away in Florida. They put the room in the wrong place so I could not get out of my house and into the room. He said he would have to add three feet on my home to get to the room from my house. He told me that I would pay for it; I did not pay for it. We did not pass numerous inspections; he broke the concrete in my driveway. Once he had the foundation filled he had to dig out the crawl space. He sent someone with a shovel to dig out a 20x20 space. He then had to dig up the foundation and got a back hoe to dig the foundation out. He put my French doors on the wrong way. A lot of supplies came here and were never used, but taken away. There is a Carolina law stating that there should be a potty john. They didn’t pay for it, so it was taken away. The men went to the bathroom in the back yard and my neighbors were complaining. They didn’t seal up the holes, and I had mice in my house. I would never recommend them. My 3 month contract ended up being 15 months. They didn’t even put the roof in the right spot. They wanted to take out a bedroom window out which would make my house a 2 bedroom instead of a 3 bedroom. We did finally pass inspection after numerous failed inspections. The one thing he did do well was that he matched my house brick with the room addition brick so it looks like it was built when the house was built.
