Chris and his team were a pleasure to work with. He developed a plan that showed his knowledge and love for plants. His price was very competitive. He was flexible in allowing me time to do a gutter drainage project that I preferred to do myself. The job was done as planned and on schedule. Experience was excellent! Chris is a consummate professional, extremely knowledgeable in his trade, and provides incredible customer service. He treats the design and implementation of the landscaping as an art, which was apparent throughout the entire process of working with him and his team. Chris did the initial consultation, and worked alongside his crew for at least a few hours each day during install, asking my wife and I about any challenges that were encountered during the process, to ensure the final install was in line with our vision of the finished product. After the install was complete, he explained and walked through how to care for all of the plants, and how best to maintain the landscape. From beginning to end our experience working with Chris Johnson Landscapes was above and beyond our expectations in every aspect. Having Chris design and implement our full landscape refresh was an absolute joy and pleasure. Chris and his crew designed and planted a full landscape plan for the front of our home. This included removing all the old overgrown shrubs and planting new shrubs and perennials. That was done on time in a very professional way. Chris is easy to communicate with and he is always on the job every day checking on progress and working himself. This was so successful that we used him to do our back yard perimeter landscape as well. This also went well.....was fairly priced and performed on time. This is a great company to work with and I can highly recommend them.

Chris is a professional through and through which is what makes him a pleasure to work with. He arrived early for the consultation and within a week or so he had the design presentation. This included the removal and transplanting of existing plants and the addition of many new ones. Our request was for a cleaner less cluttered looking landscape front and back. In addition to a calmer landscape we wanted a more tropical feel. Chris explained why it’s difficult, although not impossible to have a tropical landscape when you live in zone 7. He tweaked the design for us, worked his magic and we now have a completely new look (with a little tropical), while still utilizing some of the original plants. And it was all within the original budget too! Chris is very ‘hands on’….he was here every day working with his team, which btw is a wonderful group of people. If we have any work done in the future, it will be with Chris Johnson Landscapes.

When we were looking for someone to landscape our flower beds in front of our house we asked for recommendations on the Nextdoor application and hit gold when we contacted Chris Johnson from Chris Johnson Landscapes. He came to the house, explained options and introduced us to his broad knowledge of plants and flowers. He took a couple of pictures of the area and using a computer application was able to provide us with multiple views of what the flower beds could look like along with an estimate. The estimate was very reasonable and we agreed to move forward. He stayed on schedule and there were no surprises as he made the pictures he created a reality. His professional approach was the deal maker and the outcome was worth every penny we spent. I would not hesitate to recommend Chris.

Chris and his entire team are nothing short of awesome. Chris designed both front and backyard re-do's and then they executed the plan--turned out even better than I expected. They went above and beyond and did many extra's!!! I am getting tons of compliments on their work and would highly recommend them for any project. Chris was very conscious of my budget and did everything possible to provide me the best possible design, plants and install. They were super neat and always cleaned up everything at the end of each day--very knowledgeable team--my yard looks fantastic :)

Chris listened carefully to our ideas and made excellent suggestions to preserve mature shrubs and rework part of a terrace block wall. He chose interesting plants for bare areas. We were very pleased with the hand pruning of shrubs into natural shapes verses huge balls. The yard looks great! Chris and team were a delight to work with being pleasant and hard working. Cost of the landscaping and was very reasonable.

I contacted Chris Johnson for a very specific project – finding plants and creating a design for the front of my house, which is very small and mostly shaded. During the consultation, he listened to all my ideas and preferences. He had great suggestions and brought plenty of examples for review. Within days, he dropped off the actual plants and placed them so that I could live with the design for a couple of days. I didn’t change a thing. The plants and design matched all I had wanted – shape, color, variety, height, size and quality (health), etc. The project was completed while I was at work, and it was wonderful to come home to a beautiful, pristine and refreshed front yard. Chris exceeded my expectations while meeting my budget. In addition, he provided suggestions for other areas in my yard and has answered all of my follow-up questions.
