"Dear Mrs [Consumer name withheld at their request] first off, I am sorry that this project did not go well for you. Our company measured out the patio and spray painted where the patio would go before excavation. Yes we went over on materials, at our own cost. This was safety that way we would not run out of supplies and delay the project. The dirt was packed by two different kinds of tamps that are recommended for this type of work. Crushed stone or gravel, both work for retaining walls, we warranty all of our work and would not preform any task that could cause us to have to redo a project at a later date. The process you may have wanted was different that ours. I really wish we would have continued and had to opportunity to finish the job that way you could have seen our finished product and see long lasting results that we would stand behind. Through out the project I (Arthur Capel) allowed you to take part in the project, we did everything you asked without any disrespect. Again sorry for you inconvience, and thank you for your review.
