Rick and his crew to an Excellent job. I have had many oil changes, tire repairs, tire replacements, inspections and many other minor auto service performed at Champ's. They are very professional and care about the service that they give their customers. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

Just a simple oil change and state inspection for my old car. They gave it a quick once-over and pointed out a few things (mostly that I already knew), but there was no pressure to get anything fixed right away (there was nothing major, just a few minor issues). It's quick in and out, the people are all friendly, and they take good care of my car. I've bought tires from them in the past and been satisfied with the price and quality - though, if you buy tires, they may need a half a day to get them there. They don't have every size in stock in the small garage. I stopped by in the morning and had tires that afternoon, and now I call ahead to let them know what I'll need and when.

I have generally taken my old car to one of those places that promises to have you out in a jiffy for regular maintenance. Today, I decided to try a place closer to home - Champs Tire.

I was greeted immediately when I walked in the lobby. There were a couple of other customers there having service done. The lobby was clean and there was plenty of space. I said what work I needed done and gave my name, address, and phone number, and I sat down. The work was done in a short amount of time and I was pleased that the cost was reasonable.

I'm accustomed to having to say "no" to several other "suggested" maintenance needs when I have my oil changed or inspection. In this case, the work I requested was done quickly. (My car is old, so there is always something else that can be done, but there wasn't anything else that needed to be done in this case, and nobody tried to up-sell me on anything.)

The employees that I encountered were all business but friendly. I wasn't forced to make uncomfortable small talk, but they didn't ignore me or act annoyed to have customers in the store. I never felt like anyone was wasting time, moving too slowly, or not doing his job.

This experience was exactly what I wanted and expected it to be: quick service, good price, friendly employees, and nothing at all to complain about. I've definitely found a new place for auto service.
