Beau showed up on time and was very professional and detailed. It took him a couple hours to complete the inspection and then he walked through the entire house with me and showed me all of the problem areas. He was very detailed, noting everything from loose electrical outlets to doors rubbing on doorjambs to broken thermal seals in the windows. He gave me recommendations on how to fix the problems if I decided not to ask the sellers to fix everything. Soon after he left I received a very professional, detailed report via e-mail with pictures and descriptions of all the problems found. The report was very easy to read and understand. I would definitely recommend Beau and will use him again in the future.

Our inspection was to start at 9:00. The inspector did not show up until 9:30. After he went through the house, Aaron was going over the list of problems which were very few. When he was done, I pointed out to him a door that did not latch at all and was very difficult to lock. He then added this to his list and asked if I saw anything else. I was disappointed that the biggest problem this house had, was observed by myself. Then a couple of days later, our wood floor contractor came over to deliver the wood and pointed out some other problem areas outside the house where the windows were in desperate need of caulking (but was not on the inspection report). The report we received was via email and didn't include any pictures attached. When we requested the pictures, our real estate person contacted him and he emailed the pictures. There was a total of three pictures. We had a home inspection done seven years ago and we received a huge binder with a bunch of pictures.

Beau's affable manner and identification of what appeared to be the most minute defects led us to believe that he had a real eye for detail and perhaps he does. In hindsight, defects were not identified that have cost us thousands of dollars to repair. Had we been made aware of these defects, it probably would have poisoned the deal and saved us the money, time and aggravation.
