We have had both AC/heating units changed out, plus various maintenance along the way over the past 10+ years, and wouldn't think of calling anyone else.  His prices are fair, he is totally responsive - calls back promptly and if it's an emergency he comes quickly. Even when it's not an emergency, he is very responsive.  Very prompt/punctual, no waiting around all day. Extremely professional, and knowledgeable.  Always tries for the most cost-effective solution to the situation and provides options. Can't say enough positive things, wish all businesses were as effective, professional and easy to work with.

Very quick response. Price was fair based on amount of work he had to do. Not a good time of the year for crawling under the house. Very positive attitude and friendly manner. Would highly recommend.

I called Boz to schedule an appointment for a unit wellness check.  Of course we've had a tremendously hot summer and Boz was booked solid with service calls for broken units.  He told me he would get back to me in a couple of days to confirm a day/time to stop by and that is exactly what he did.  As usual, I was happy with his responsiveness and service.

Although I had called once in the past and I did not get a return call, after calling today, Boz stopped by a couple of hours later. He was extremely thorough diagnosing my systems to help me find the best way to cool my house better (spent over 2 hours). He repaired one of my compressor valves and filled up the units with freon. He also strongly suggested I get my attic foam insulated (which he does not do) instead of investing a lot of money in a multi-zone system (yet). I was very pleased with the job he did and how he responded to what I was really looking for (unlike others that seem to know what they want to do before stepping into the house).

my a/c was not working, and it was 90 degrees inside! I called Star at 6:30 pm and they came at 7am the next day! Awesome service and I was very impressed with his willingness to come first thing in the morning so that I wasnt late for work. I highly recommend, they were also very very accommodating to angieslist customers....

We paid $200 or $300 for that work. He had to reschedule once, but showed up the next morning and was a pretty nice guy and I would use him again. I was happy with it and he got back every time he could not be there.

He was very personable. I liked him, but he told us something about if he put in freon in, it wouldn't last, so it wouldn't be worthwhile to do it. Then we called someone else with Angie's List that came out that gave us freon and we still don't have a problem with our air conditioner.

We use them every year. They are wonderful. Their price is in the ballpark. We can get hold of them anytime. If there is any issue, they call us. We will continue to use them.

Boz covered my replacement unit options. He offerred his opinion on what would work best for my energy consumption pattern. He does not try to over sell. He wants to do the right thing for the customer.

They were wonderful. He was very personable. The other companies I called charged me $75 to come. This person came for free and did not even charge me. He did what he said he will do. He was very honest. I gave him $50 out of my wish because of the work he did.

Boz has been very kind to us and told us clearly what he thought we needed. He's been accurate each time. We feel like old friends and have a "catch up" time when he comes.

The serviceman from Star Heating & Air was on time. He was very friendly, professional, and honest. I would use them again in the future.

Compressor died on one of the hottest days ever. Every other company said at least 3 days before they could even check it. Boz was there the next morning to check and apologized for taking so long! Despite the bad news, I was happy with the speed with which he replaced the unit and how careful and professional he was. I have recommended him to others and would use them again.

Very prompt. I called him (Boz the owner) and he said he would come by the next day to look things over and when I called my wife that next afternoon I found out that he came first thing in the morning and fixed our problem. It was a little pricier than I wanted, but the job was done right and quickly without any fuss and he even checked our A/C system to make sure it was running smoothly.

I called Boz when the system stopped working, and we made arrangements for him to come the following week. He called as promised, and arrived exactly when he said he would. He completely checked the system and answered any questions I had. He explained why the system stopped working, and quickly fixed the problem. I highly recommend him.

Great work, third time I've used Boz at different places in the area. Always great service and a few good stories.

He came out and fixed the air conditioning after another company had wired it incorrectly.

After the maintenance man fixed the A/C unit, he recommended we contact our home insurance company to repair the drywall damage that had resulted from the leak. Had he not suggested it, we would have had to pay out of pocket for that expense. I will call these guys any time!

Furnace went out Saturday morning, so for the coldest two nights we have had so far, I had no heat. Called 2 companies, Star was the second. Bud came within two hours of my call. He was prompt, made me feel comfortable immediately, felt like I had known him all my life and as promised, fixed my furnace and explained problem, piece that would be needed and made sure I was able to make 2 worship services I had that day. He worked quickly and did not leave a mess. Would and have highly recommended him and Angie's List to others. What I really appreciated was that he had two other calls both of whom had partial heat, because I had none, he made me first priority.

I got Star Heating and Air's listing from Angie's list and called Boz. He said he was about two days out but the weather was fairly cool and it was the air conditioning that wasn't working, so I decided to wait for him. He came out and was extremely kind and friendly. He got the A/C working and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Mr "Box" has done excellent work for us -- promptly, good diagnosis of the trouble. He is very pleasant to have come. He seems to go out of his way to help us.

We enjoyed having "Boz" and his assistant come! He explained whole he sees as the problem very well. He does clean work indicates his willingness to help us in any way he can. He does his job well. He knows how to fix & evaluate. We feel he charges accurately. Boz comes promptly and can describe what he sees as the problem. He's very pleasant and friendly.

BOZ IS GREAT. HE CAME WITHIN TWO HOURS OF MY CALL, SERVICED THE A/C UNIT WHICH HAS WORKED PERFECTLY ALL SUMMER, AND TAPED EXTERIOR LINES SO THAT I WOULDN'T SLICE THEM WITH THE WEED WACKER. HE ALSO GAVE ME SOME ADVICE ON HVAC NEEDS RELATED TO A HOME ADDITION WE WERE CONSIDERING.
