I was impressed with Lake Norman Irrigation's work and thought they did a wonderful job. I dealt only with Joe each time he was at my home working with his assistant. Joe was a very personable guy, took the time to explain things and answer my questions, and was dependable. I thought they worked and coordinated well with my landscaper who was working on other projects at the same time around my home (installing stone retaining walls, metal edging, landscaping and installing sod). They dug trenches; pulled up old, damaged french drain pipes which were connected to most of the downspouts; installed new, larger sch.40 slick pipe and attached it to the downspouts; removed an old low voltage landscape lighting system and replaced it with 12 commercial grade uplights and added a larger 600w transformer/control box; and installed an irrigation system in the front yard, left side yard, and right side yard, including an irrigation system digital control box. Joe went over the programming and operation of the irrigation system and the landscape lighting system when the work was complete and took the time to answer all of my questions. I also signed up to have Joe winterize my irrigation system in the late Fall and then come out again, set it up, and test it in the early Spring. A few weeks after they were done with the work, I started having problems with the landscape lighting system not coming on automatically. The problem was with the the landscape lighting control box, specifically, the mechanical wheel that rotated inside the box to turn the switch on and off. Also, I wanted to move one of my landscape lights to balance out the lighting in one of the natural areas in my front yard but the wire was too short to move it to where I wanted it. I called my contractor, who in turn took a few days to arrange for Lake Norman Irrigation to come out, but once they were notified, they came out and replaced the control box with another one; it has worked great since then. At the same time, Joe added some additional wire to the light I wanted to move and placed it in the new location for me at no charge.

I was very pleased. They made a nice proposal. The cost was exactly what they estimated. They went out of their way to do a good job and I would use them again. David was the one who ran everything and I was satisfied with his work.

THIS IS THE 2ND TIME I'VE USED THIS CO and I JUST LOVE THE OWNER. THEY ARE THE MOST PROFESSIONAL and HARD WORKING HONEST GUYS AROUND.
