Ed did a great job assessing the job needs and making great recommendations to maximize the space in our household. Chris and Quincy did an excellent job yesterday! They took the time to make recommendations vs. just doing the job as outlined. This ultimately took more time to complete, but made the overall job much better. I hired KS for a multi-room AV project at my house that had to be performed in multiple phases. My experience with KS on this project was nothing short of stellar in all aspects from the initial site visit and proposal through installation, walk through and post-sale support. Ed, the KS System Designer assigned to my project was fantastic to work with both in terms of designing the optimal configuration and layout for my budget as well as addressing ALL of my questions (and there were dozens) via email, text messages, phone calls, etc. Ed was always responsive even answering questions during off hours, which he certainly did not have to do. His expertise and guidance throughout the entire project was invaluable to me. Chris S., the KS Field Tech who was the lead on the installation and setup was just as excellent to work with as well. Chris S., Chris B. and Ryan were able to overcome whatever challenges the infrastructure of my house may have presented in order to provide an aesthetically appealing and flawless installation. Chris also spent as much time as I needed after the install was complete to make sure that I was comfortable with operating the equipment and the various features. I had a follow up technical question the next day and Chris got back to me promptly and was able to help resolve the issue over the phone. These guys ARE THE ABSOLUTE BEST!

The installers knew what they were doing and it didn't take long.  Very honest about what they would do if it were their house.  Will has for the same guys to come back and do more work for our directv and possibly install a tv.

Ed Studer and Ryan Hennigh came to our home today for service on our home theater and deck speakers. We would definitely recommend them and will request them again in the future. They arrived on time, were very accommodating, knowledgeable and efficient. The company that we bought the home theater from did not even return a service call so we were very happy to find such a good company with excellent technicians to service us. Great service!

We have had to have them come out multiple times. It was a high dollar price to install the system initially and every time they come out to service it, it's another what we consider at least a high price for service call. It's $69 jut to get the truck roll then depending on how long the technician is here, depends on how high the price goes. You would think that they wouldn't be charging that much just to come out and check it. They don't like to give you explanations on how to use the system and so by not giving an explanation or leaving a book with you to see how it's done, you'll have to keep calling them out to fix it. This system is run off of computerized information, the technician, when he comes out, he's basically changing some of the programming to make the correction for whatever reason we're having called out. They do not give you any information on how you can fine tune it yourself after they leave. It's not user-friendly.

Everyone in their service department, from the dispatcher to the onsite technicians were a pleasure to work with. They were responsive, always returning calls and following up. They moved quickly, making  sure we had minimal down time while our equipment was out for repair. Considering the amount of effort involved, their charges were  very reasonable. We purchased the AV system from them last year and have been pleased with both the equipment and the ongoing support. They really stand behind their work which is as important as the initial sale and setup.

Since these are 2 older style universal remote controls, they were very difficult to reprogram. (I know, I tried to do it myself). Jim stuck with it and succeeded in overcoming the difficulty and now they both work flawlessly. I asked Jim several questions regarding the universal remote controls available today and how user friendly they are. He is very knowledgeable about electronics and even advised me correctly about a telephone land line I have. When billing me Jim gave me a break on the amount of time he spent on my problem because he said he hadn't worked on that type of remote control in a while.


I had looked on Angies List to find KS AudioVideo and they carry an "A" rating and now I see why. Very knowledgeable, professional, and very prompt.

I have been very pleased with KS from both the sales and service perspective. They are very reliable, committed to making the solution work for their customers, and professional in all dealings with them. While not cheap, the solution they installed has met my needs and was much less expensive than another company's proposed solution using Crestron as opposed to Control 4. I have been extremely pleased with them
