Gold's Gym

I love it. It has helped my overall health so much. The doctors are very pleased. They have a program there for older people, it is called Silver Sneakers. It is special exercises for us older people and they just have the best program there. We all just love it! The first Friday of April, they are starting Zumba for seniors. I am so excited! Isn't that fantastic? We have an instructor, Jenna, and she is so entertaining that we do not really realize that we are exercising, because we sing along and do all this stuff. Then before we know it, the class is over. For seniors, I cannot say enough about that. It is just wonderful. I they have come once, they come back, because they have such a good time. The doctors have been very pleased. It has been a year since I've been going there and in my physicals and stuff I am so much stronger. After having chemo, getting up from the chair and going to the bathroom, was a big deal. And now there is no comparison. I've painted all our rooms. In one day I painted for six hours and getting up on the ladder and getting back down and doing the next. I would never been able to do that had I not been going to the gym. And it is covered in my insurance.

They are very clean, the studio is. They give us hours when they are not that crowded. Everyone cleans the machines when they are done and there is lots of disinfectant available. My husband just joined and we will begin using a trainer together starting March 1st.
