 + -1 moreSpent thousands on a new audio system. Failed a few months later. Customer service is horrible. Response time horrible. They don't care about your problems only about taking your money. I would not use these guys. If you have any issues they will leave you out to dry

 + -1 moreI had the same problem as the previous person. They came to my home for an estimate and seemed to know what they were doing, looked everything over and we started the discussion of what would be needed. They only have one brand of equipment and I explained I was not interested in that brand, but would let them purchase a different brand and charge me a fair retail price. I understand they are in business to make money but I don't want an off brand or poor review piece of equipment. He seemed okay with that and was supposed to get back to me with a bid. Weeks went by and I started calling, always got an apology but never got a estimate, after three calls and several weeks I gave up and am now working with another co (Entertainment Technology) total change in professionalism. I was raised and run my own company on a different level than some of these people out here, Thank God for "Angies list and giving us all a voice. There are good old fashioned, hard working people out there, they are just getting harder to find.
Description of Work: Came to home to give an estimate for complete audio, stereo, surround sound, and equipment hook up.

Description of Work: Called Freeman's to do an estimate on some home theater work in our home. Even though set the appointment up 3 weeks in advance, technician was over 2 hours late. The guy who showed up was so incredibly rude and unprofessional. Instead of trying to work with what I wanted and listening, insisted on a totally different option and upselling everything. The guy was so rude and pompous at one point I was about to ask him to leave. Waited 2 weeks for estimate to come, never did despite several calls to the store. Finally gave up and went with a different company who actually listened to what i wanted, worked with some of my existing equipment and laid out several different options for me to choose from in terms of price to accomplish what I desired. I have no doubt they sell quality merchandise but i got equivalent if not the same equipment without unnecessary stuff for a cheaper price elsewhere with a much more professional experience.

 + -1 moreThe initial estimate for speaker replacement was right on...just did not expect the probelm to be in the radio. Final invoice match the estimate prior to installation. Worked with Chad, who was good about working me into the shop's schedule. Spent about two hours total, which probably is not too bad considering I had no appointment. Provided me with the old radio and speakers.
Description of Work: Drove to retail location with a Chrysler factory AM/FM radio that was "crackling" from the left side speakers. Technician determined that the radio and speakers were shorted out. Replaced radio with a Kenwood AM/FM/WMA/MP3/CD receiver and new 6.5 inch Sony 190W/40W speakers. Technician demonstrated the radio features in the car following installation and answered any questions.
