Carolina Tile and Stone

We were displeased with the selection of tile by our kitchen renovator so contacted Peter at Carolina Tile and Stone to look at other alternatives.  They had an extensive selection of various styles and colors of tiles on display, unlike some other places that only had pictures.  Many rooms had large sections of installed tiles so a better vision of what the installed tile would look like on our walls.   Since we were still unsure of the correct tile, Peter suggested a couple of kitchen designers for us to contact to hire for consultation.  We met the consultant that we hired at the Carolina Tile store and over a couple of hours of comparing and visualizing different options, we chose the style and type of tile.  Peter came out to our house that afternoon and looked at the space where the tile would be placed and offered several suggestions on how to make the layout work and look the best in our complicated layout.  He measured and called us back the next day to give a quote and timeline of when we could get the tile installed. 
On the designated day of installation, Peter came out with Jason the installer to show him exactly how he wanted each section to be done to get the effect that we wanted.  Jason consulted us several times when there were alternate ways of putting in the tiles to get our opinion of which would we prefer, telling us the pro's and con's of each option.  He installed half of the tiles the first day, and then spent half a day finishing the installation.  He wanted to let the mastic set up before putting in the grout just to make sure the tiles were set in place. The third day he finished the grouting and it looks great.  He was punctual each day and kept us informed about when he would be arriving each day. 
We could not be better pleased with the whole process and the final product.
