Carolina K-9 Mold Detection

Extremely satisfied! It's amazing what a dog can find! Mold remediation experts will tell you what they can see, but they can't tell you what they can't see in the walls. The mold dog can, and has pinpoint accuracy!! We recently had major mold issues in our crawlspace, which we had remediated. We were concerned there may still be a moisture\mold issue both under the house as well as within the walls of our home. Our Dr. recommended Carolina K-9 Mold Detection to us. He had them come out for mold detection in his home, and they were able to locate mold deep within the walls, causing health issues for his wife and kids. Ellen (the owner) and her dog, Trace, completed a very thorough investigation of the entire home. Trace did detect mold at two locations in our walk-in attic. One area was around a vent pipe that we know had previously leaked and been repaired. Trace detected no mold in the interior of the home. Our crawlspace had been remediated from mold and then fully encapsulated to prevent moisture from re-entering. Trace covered the entire area under the house and found no mold as well. To be able to confirm the mold no longer exists was more than comforting to my wife and I. We now know the mold remediation last Fall was a complete success! Black mold is nothing to ignore. It made my wife and I very ill. We are both avid animal lovers and dog owners as well. We were concerned for the dog's health and safety to be used to locate mold. After researching, we found that dogs have the ability to filter out the mold toxins with their nose, unlike humans. Ellen is also a dog lover, and Trace is a rescue pup.
