They were fine. The price was good. I would recommend them to others and would probably use them again in the future if necessary.

Jeff was easy to schedule, got here right on time and made short, competent work of something that Lowes installers said was "impossible." Not only did Jeff get the "impossible" job done with aplomb (yay for my new, gorgeous gas range!), but when he got here he also noticed that the electrical wasn't wired properly behind the range. He was able to call a licensed electrician that he knows, get him out and get everything completely finished within a few hours. I couldn't have asked for a better, more responsive and knowledgeable service.

Rob showed up on time for a seasonal check of our heating system, which is a hybrid gas/electric. I think he also looked at the A/C. The work order says he checked wire connections, tested motor windings, inspected the heat exchanger and tested safety switches. He changed the filters and checked the thermostat, cleaned the burner assembly and cleaned the evaporator coil. He also checked refrigerant pressures. He inspected the duct work. I told him that we had recently had a new roof put on, and so he checked to make sure the flue pipe was not touching any of the new roofing. It was, so he climbed up on a ladder and cut away the roof from the flue pipe to prevent a fire safety issue. He also alerted us that our attic fan was running non-stop and tried to adjust the thermostat so it would cycle on and off, but he determined the thermostat is broken. (I'll follow-up with the installer of the fan later.) He changed our intake filters (I provided). There's also a checklist of items on the work order that he followed. Rob worked hard and thoroughly. He listed to me when I expressed concerns about whether our ducts needed cleaning, and he reported what he saw and told me the costs in case we decide to have the work done with them (which we will.) He is polite, took care with my house and clearly cares about doing a good job. We bought our system from this company several years ago, and this is a continuation of the excellent service we have had with them. At first, I was reluctant to sign up for a $195 annual contract for A/C and heating system maintenance (I was of the "If it ain't broke don't fix it" mentality), but now I'm glad I did. Jennifer, the office manager, emails you reminders to schedule your checkup and will follow up with a call if you don't respond. We will happily use this company again, and I plan to call to get our duct work and dryer vent cleaned in a few weeks.

I called allied aire at approximately 5:30 pm on a Saturday afternoon after returning home to find that the A/C was not working properly. I explained that it appeared the fan had come off the motor and was laying inside the A/C unit. They promptly sent out a technician who arrived within 45 minutes and had the fan blade reattached in under 30 minutes. He explained that the fan blade been bent slightly when it hit the coils, but he was able to bend it back into shape and that it would most likely continue to function properly, but if I wanted he could replace it. He also indicated that there was not damage to the coils and the unit was working properly. While he was at the house, I also had him check the condensate line to see if it could be cleared without having to cut and replace the plumbing. The technician was at the house for less than an hour and was very helpful and friendly during the appointment. He wrote up the repairs he made and provided me with an invoice in the amount of $95 for the service call. I was very pleased withe the prompt and friendly service provided as well as the cost. I have used Allied Aire once before to replace a heating and air unit for a client of mine that was purchasing a new home, and I will continue to use them for all of my A/C needs in the future.

I was having a vapor barrier put down under the house and the XYZ company putting down the barrier pulled out a vent on their first day of installation and the second day of installation the XYZ company ripped up the ductwork that leads to the second floor. That's when I called Jeff because I trust him and his company to do proper repairs. He came out right away to reattach the vent that was pulled out and I have Jeff scheduled to come out and repair the rest of the damage caused by the XYZ company. I have had Allied Aire keeping my air conditioning and heating unit maintained and I highly recommend Allied Aire. The annual contract is worth it.

Jeff and one employee did all the work and he never left the job. Great to work with, very professional. Would highly recommend to anyone. He was done in less than 8 hours.

I like them, I think they are very good. They are a very small company and it is a one man operation. I find them very reliable. I sign up for a service contract every year and they don't try to sell me things I don't need. He gives me good advice and does a thorough job.

Ok. price on duct cleaning was much higher than other companies. However, the price on service was good.

Jeff is great to work with -- he is very professional and thorough. I was so pleased that I am signing up for the annual service contract provided by Allied Aire.

The technician showed up on time and was extremely nice. He gave me all of the options on the different brands I could choose from and helped me find the one that best fit my needs. I would use them again in the future and definitely recommend them to others.

GREAT. THERE WAS A LITTLE PROBLEM WITH TARDINESS ON THE PART OF THE EMPLOYEES WHO DID THE MAJORITY OF THE WORK. THE OWNER, WHO WAS PRESENT DAILY, WAS PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL AND INFORMATIVE. I HAVE A PRETTY TIGHT SCHEDULE AND DESPITE THE DELAYS, THE JOB FINISHED ON TIME. THIS COMPANY'S PRICE WAS THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS LESS THAN OTHER COMPANIES. WE'RE IN A HEAT WAVE NOW. MY HOUSE IS COMFORTABLE AND THE UNIT IS NOT STRUGGLING. THE OWNER HELPED/MADE SURE MY REBATE PAPERWORK WAS CORRECT.

Jeff was helpful in explaining how he would install/improve the fans and the ductwork, he was very clear about what could/could not be done, and he sent his estimate via fax within the week.

They were very courteous, prompt and explained what they were doing and how the system would run. Took the time to explain and walk me through programing the thermostat. They also offered to come back in a week to see if we need any further balancing with the ductwork.

They also come for the yearly check on the heating and air conditioning. This company bends over back wards for you, and I would recommend to anyone.

I have been satisfied with his service.

JEFF SHUE (OWNER) DID ALL WORK. JEFF WAS VERY CONSIDERATE--(HE REMOVED HIS SHOES EVERY TIME HE CAME INTO THE HOUSE). JEFF IS A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH AND I BELIEVE HIS WORK TO BE MUCH BETTER THAN AVERAGE.

A LARGE AREA COMPANY CHARGED ME MORE MONEY JUST TO LOOK AT A DIFFERENT AIR UNIT, TELL ME IT HAD A LEAK, AND THEN REFILL IT. I CAN'T IMAGINE WHAT ANOTHER COMPANY WOULD HAVE CHARGED ME TO DO WHAT JEFF DID. I BELIEVE JEFF HAS MORE THAN 10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH LARGE AREA HVAC COMPANIES, AND HAS JUST STARTED OUT ON HIS OWN. HE IS VERY PERSONABLE, AND HAS LET ME KNOW WHEN HE THINKS I SHOULD JUST REPAIR, 'WAIT & SEE', OR REPLACE, AS OPPOSED TO OTHER COMPANIES WHICH CHARGED ME A LOT OF MONEY AND JUST 'FIXED' A PROBLEM WITHOUT COMMUNICATING THE OPTIONS. I HIRED JEFF AS A RESULT OF FRIENDS' REFERRALS.
