AWAD APPLIANCE SVC

Great service and quick response. Needed a part for my refrigerator and it had to come from the manufacture. It wasn’t a critical part so I was still able to use it. Communication was open and once the part was in it was quickly installed and working great.

To start with, i researched Companies before i called and i thought i was having Tony's Repair come out, that's who i called. Service call was on 2-8-21, He was literally there 5 mins, told me i needed a water value, and he would order and be back to install. I had to write him a check for 85.00 plus tax right then. He gave me a business card, said to write to AWAD, I questioned NOT Tony's? He said he was buying Tony out. So 2 weeks went by, i called, Part still on back order, I continued to call every week for 5 months. Nope, part still not in. June 23 i called and LM , was not happy, and he called me back, for ONCE, and said IF I can get he part he would come install for a price. OKAY!!! Called another Company, they came out June 25th, of course i am being charged another service call, (Not this Company fault) Ordered Part, It came June 29th and installed the following week, I paid for the work with Service call at time of completion. SAY AWAY FOR MAWAD!!!! THEY DO THIS ALOT. After all this , i actually looked at AWAD reviews, they are NOT GOOD! I would NEVER have called this company IF i had know it was them and NOT Tony's coming out.

They showed up late, told me it was a problem with the latch and told me to put a chair in front of my dishwasher to make it work. They have not provided any update on the part they were supposed to order, and they refuse to answer calls.  They claim that they attempted to return outside of the appointment window, but never left a note, and never called back.  Horrible service!!!  I would never use this provider again.

Not much detail involved.  My ice maker quit working and they replaced it.  Didn't make a mess and were through in less that an hour.

Took 30 minutes, part was $30.  $83 labor, too high!
