I took my electronic sewing/embroidery machine and a serger to "We're Sew Creative" to be serviced. Both were sewing and did not have any problems, they only needed servicing. They took my information, gave me an estimate for the cost and a promise date of TWO WEEKS out for them to be finished. They said they would call me if they were ready before then. The promise date was a Sunday and I did not expect to be able to pick them up on a Sunday, so I called on Monday at noon to see if they were ready. The serger was done, but the sewing/embroidery machine was not even started yet. I did not ask for the promise date, it was GIVEN to me with no discussion at all. On the day after the promise date, I needed both machines. I spoke with the technician and told him this. He said that the promise date was a software issue and that it was not realistic and was not their fault. (!?!?) This was not acceptable to me. I asked him for a 5% discount on the charge of servicing that machine for each day beyond that specific day (one day past the promise date) and he flatly said "No. We won't do that." I asked him if he could get it done that afternoon and if he could not, I was going to pick it up and take it elsewhere. He said he would work on it. He called 2 hours later to let me know it was ready. When I picked up the machine, he was not there to talk with. I brought the machine home and it performed as if it had not been serviced. The serger was not much better. The tension on both was off and the feed through the sewing machine dragged. I had not been having issues with this before, but I don't believe he damaged the machine. I just believe that he sewed forward, backward, and zigzagged and charged me $150 for going through the motions. I continued sewing with this machine for 3 months and finally had to take it elsewhere and it performs like a dream now. What a huge difference. I will never take another machine to "We're Sew Creative" and would not recommend that anyone else do so. I spent $270 on the servicing of both machines and could only afford to have the sewing/embroidery machine serviced again. The serger still performs poorly and I will take it to the other service location when I can afford to.

I was told when I dropped off the machine that it could be up to two weeks for the work to be completed.  I was pleasantly surprised when Pete called the next day and told me about the problem with the thread and he said that it would be ready to be picked up the following day. Since I am relatively new to this area, I am very happy to find a qualified Bernina repair person to work on my machines.  They also honored the coupon that they are offering through Angie's List for the repair work.

They did a fine job. The only thing I would have liked was to have been kept up to date as to when they thought it would be done. It took them three weeks to repair the sewing machine. The work they did was excellent. I am positive about their work and their location is convenient for me.

When I dropped the machine off, I was given a date range of when he thought he would have it ready for pickup and he would call when it was ready. It was actually done early, but they were fine with keeping it for a few days till I was able to pick it up. This was nice because the sewing machine is attached to a table and takes up a decent amount of space. When we stopped to pick it up, we noticed that the belt had not been replaced. We asked that they try to find a replacement. Although we had to leave it there about 5 days longer, they found a belt and replaced it. Everything works great.

I took my sewing machine to Pete Wade at "We're So Creative".  He had previously repaired my sewing machine, on the recommendation of a regional sales manager from Baby Lock machines.  He worked for several minutes on the sewing machine while I was in the store and realized he needed more time, so I left the machine with him.  He needed to order parts, which were on back order, so it did take a few weeks before the machine was repaired.  When I picked up the machine from the store, the salesperson commented that Pete had spent a lot of time on the machine.  The cost was minimal, however.

At the same time, I took my serger, on which the door had broken.  Again, he had to send for a special part.  The serger is like new and the cost was very reasonable.

Pete is very knowledgeable about all brands of machines and is pleasant to do business with.  I highly recommend him.
