Two Men & A Truck

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I strongly urge others to avoid using Two Men and a Truck. Our experience was nothing short of a nightmare. The movers arrived late, moved at a painfully slow pace, and caused damage to several of our belongings. What should have been a simple move turned into an all-day ordeal filled with frustration. The only moment of competence came when we called to escalate and the manager, Harry, showed up to get things back on track. At the time, he seemed helpful and ensured the move was completed—but that was where the support ended. Since then, Harry and the rest of the team have gone completely silent regarding our damage claim with only one response and item repaired. We’ve followed up multiple times and have received no response. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and care from this company is astounding. Even when things go wrong—which can happen—the bare minimum is to take responsibility and follow through. They failed on all fronts. I would never use Two Men and a Truck again and highly recommend others look elsewhere.

The woman that came out and survey the scence was very professional and nice and made a few promises that were not kept. We moved from 2 places so it was hard for them to move everything. They did a average job with the service. They got hurried at the end and when they unloaded they didn't put things were we asked. They were nice and professional.

I was very much satisfied with their services.  They were great.  Their responsiveness was very good.  The quality and professionalism were excellent.  They were very much on time.

I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst night mare. My furniture was all banged up (tables, chairs, dressers, picture frames, etc). They wrapped some of the furniture with blankets, but they still managed to scratched it. Wood furniture was gouged.

We were referred to this company as the owner of our new building said they were familiar with the rules for moving into our building. The owner of Two men & a truck quoted us a 4 hour moving time, as they only moves the large items that would not fit in our car. On the day, the 2 men sent to us did not use the hallway runners required & said they had no knowledge of the rules. It took the two guys 45 minutes to move a sofa down 1 floor in an elevator & carry it approximately 50 yards to the truck. When I went down to check, they were sitting, smoking on the back step. I aksed them if we could get a move on and was told, verbatum "You better watch your mouth, I am only human." This was the attitude I recieved all day from these two "men" they were only polite when it came time to collect the check.

It was a negative experience. Their price was really off and they said they could fit everything in one "pod" but they were wrong and it ended up costing me alot more.

I used the loc. in N Charlotte. The 3 men sent were very polite and personable. They worked for 12 hrs in 100 degree heat. This is a move I thought would take less than 6 hrs. They were careful with the furniture and wrapped everything. They ran into problems when trying to assemble/disassemble. I did not feel they were properly equipped. They had a couple of manual screwdrivers and no braces or harnesses to wear. I have some large furniture which I pointed out to the estimator. I called the co. again prior to the move date as a reminder of this and also that there were stairs to navigate, so I needed experienced people. Assembly/disassembly took an inordinate amt of time. I was pulling out my own tools. I spoke to one of the owners, John, afterward and politely expressed some concern about this. He was very nasty and impolite. Oh well, so much for customer sat. I hope to never move again, but if I do, he cemented my decision never to use them again.

Movers were pleasant but end result horrid...dropleaf table leg broken, back piece of marble from antique wash stand "disappeared", hardwood floors scraped, truck left before being able to look inside of it to check for overlooked items...truck in need of repair as it began to rain and truck leaked.

They were great. They wrapped our beautiful bookcase, our t.v. and so many other items without being asked. They protected everything beautifully and did not even bump a wall. Carl, John and T were great. We even called the company to tell them that these guys were keepers. I can't say enough good things about this company.

Within one hour the two men had moved what would have taken my husband and me much longer, if we could have done it and stayed married during the process! The men were very pleasant and professional and I will certainly call on this company, if I have a need for movers in the future.

Overall a very positive experience.

I called on Monday and they were able to schedule the move for the next day. They were on time and did the job that was asked. The movers were polite and professional.
