Three-Way Plumbing Services, Inc. has been an established plumbing company in Charlotte and surrounding areas for the last 19 years. Our customers are always satisfied with our services from water heater installation to sewer line repair. We are a “family” Charlotte plumbing company that believes our employees as well as our valued clients are a part of our “family” and should be treated with the utmost respect. We believe in providing only the highest quality service experience that we expect to receive when we are in need of services ourselves. "Thank you for sharing your feedback with us as well as the opportunity to respond. The fact that you gave us an overall rating of an ‘F’ for work not performed is confusing. I would like to clarify some details left out. When calling our office initially, you stated the ‘tub/shower faucet wasn’t working’. Upon scheduling, you were informed of the dispatch/evaluation fee of $79 to send a highly-skilled plumbing technician to your home to evaluate the issue. The technician called during your time frame when on the way, evaluated the situation and put ALL your options in writing along with pricing and guarantees. The various options ranged from $401-$1898 and was not just a single option for $955. You chose the option to take your business elsewhere and have the work completed by someone else, which is your prerogative. That is why we Always give all options in writing before beginning any work. You only paid the dispatch/evaluation fee of $79 plus tax (which is out of our hands and the State of NC requires) for a professional diagnosis as explained up front to all customers prior to booking the call. We are very transparent in our pricing, and I do not apologize for this transparency. In regards to the pricing you were quoted by “2 other plumbers;” I have no idea what their price was based on, what option compared to ours (I can only assume it was Not the $955 option you claim to compare it to.) I have no idea whether they were actual licensed plumbers, a handyman, what their pricing is based on, whether it was site unseen or based on our diagnosis or if the same parts would be used. What I do know is we have been in business over 20 years and have a high rating with Angie’s List because of the way we do business here at Three Way Plumbing–educating our customers and allowing them to make all decisions based on their specific needs and budget and being upfront each step of the way. I am sorry that we are not the company for your but wish you luck in the future."

We always provide our customer with their various options and the total cost of those options before we begin any work. The customer has the option of either moving forward with any or all of the options, or not moving forward with any of the options. However, if they move forward, they do so knowing exactly how much the work will cost before any work is started. "Thank you for taking the time to post your reply on Angie's List. In reviewing your service call, we found that our technician was at your home for 90 minutes. While he was there he rerouted the water pipe to the humidifier bypassing your water softener system. He also installed a new water main shutoff. We never want our customers to feel that we have taken advantage of them after the fact. Consequently, all options and pricing are discussed and explained before any work is begun. If any customer feels the options or the pricing is unreasonable, they have the option of declining our service. You were given the options, and the prices before any work was begun, and chose to move forward with the work. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience."
